Rob B
Got back from Slovenia last night, first 6 or so heats were a bit boring then it heated up. With heat 9 being a cracker with Nicholls, Crump & Rickardsson. Yes Crump got lucky in the semi but exactly the same thing happened to him 2-3 years ago there when he was leading the semi. Final was a great race, Crump showed exactly how to ride someone hard but fair, on the second lap he took Pedersen wide into the second bend but still left him room down the back straight, if it had been Pedersen on the inside then we know that probably wouldn't have happened. Great ride by Pedersen though. Glad Pedersen won it rather then Rickardsson because Pedersen will probably mess up a few rounds where he won't qualify for the final. barrow boy
He has big luck every year SCB. More than his fair share. He won a GP last year when TRick was well clear, and NP piled into BP. The ref should have called it back. Huge rolling start from Crump. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Every post about JC states Crump whereas all other riders are referred to by either their christian names, initials or nicknames. You don't have to keep screaming 'I hate him'. I think we have got the message. Wonder if he's bothered.
Blazeaway
Quality GP with a great result. My fav three riders in the first three places. Lets hope Nicki's op goes well and we can watch a great series unfold. Nothing personally against the guy but wouldn't it have been boring if Tony Rickardsson had won it? This result hopefully sets up a great series.
Yorkshire Ace
some absolute garbage being spoke about Crumpy on here by Steve Shovlar or whatever his name is. Crumpy is the World Number 2 enough said, he had a few ignition problems which he has announced and said he was chuffed finishing 2nd so stop shoveling s*it about JC. You take your chances in this sport and that's what Crumpy does-get over it.
barrow boy
Crump was in the final be default. Never rode well enouogh to deserve being there and anyone who says different is living in cloud cuckoo land. The final should have been between the four best riders on show last night. NP, Adams, TRick and Gollob. Crump was gifted a final spot, then had a massive roller in the final! A good final, with nobody taking any real advantage. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Where do all the cloud cuckoo land dwellers think that SS lives then? barrow boy
Did you hear Mr Pearson in commentary say that some people think that more big points should be available for the losing semi finalists. Does someome out there take notice after all? Thought it was funny though when he said it was a high scoring Slovenian GP. Were there more points scored this time then? ouch
Cracking GP with plenty of good racing. The Brits weren’t to disappointing and the “Ace” Crump finished 2nd whilst still not looking as awesome as he does in his league racing. Some riders were lucky when taking to the grass and not being excluded. Crumps luck came when Adams broke down, if Crump is going to have the luck this year then it will be all over bar the shouting pretty soon. I know he’s been unlucky over the last few years but I’d rather see him take the luck off Ricko and Pedersen, as these are the guys who’ve gained most from Crumpie’s misfortune. Crumps race with Adams and Pedersen were true class from all involved. I don’t think you could get a razor blade between them. Such trust in one another’s abilities. Before the start you have to look at a Crump/Trick battle, so if they finished 1st and 2nd then Crump would be 5 points up. As it is he is 4 points up, but had the confidence boost of easily beating Trick twice in a GP. I think the battle for 2nd this year will be wide open, and I like to see Adams (for all the effort put in over the years) or one of the younger lads like Lindback step up. Seb the Snail
Thoroughly enjoyed this GP and congrats to Nicki - he won it fair and square and cleanly, which is the most important.Crumpie was lucky to reach the final and commiserations to Leigh, but in the final Jase showed what he's made of, as he was all over Nicki's back wheel for most of the race. Im pleased with the result as it was a fair GP and those who get the luck have to take it - it doesn't happen often!!! TRick at the back though - my face was an absolute picture!!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Totally agree with all of these sentiments. Mr Clean was awesome in his semi until he lost all power on the final lap; fair play to Crump for making the most of the opportunity that this provided. Hopefully for Leigh's sake he will enjoy better fortune in a fortnight's time. Nicki was a deserved winner, but like bananas, the cheers at the New Inn had more to do with who was trailing in at the back rather than who was taking the chequered flag. Could it be a case of 6 and out for Tricky?

Thanks for your response btw, someone that didn't attack me for not liking TRick - but of course, you're not from Poole are you?????!!!!! I'm running away fast now!!! sjw ministerofport
I know it's been a few days ago now but I hope the rest of the GP's are as good as that one. At first I thought it was going to be boring, just look what happened. It took me back to the years when I never heard of the dirt line. Who ever didn't follow Olsen's orders for the watering of the track deserves a medal. I just hope Wroclaw is prepaired for great racing. As for the final, it was for me a classic. Nicki and Jason deserve a pat on the back each.
Rob B
Has anyone got a recording of the GP on DVD please? I watched it when I got back on my SKY+ and deleted it but my mate found out last night his didn't record. Please send me a private message or an email to rbecking@yahoo.com

Does someome out there take notice after all?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ok, so they say, "we won't give them the points they scored, we'll give them 14 and 11 points". So what if one of them riders has score 15? He loses points! So give them 17 and 16? They get more than they would have done for making the final! If you come 8th, why do you suddenly deserve a much more bigger score than the guy in 9th? If you were only 1 point better, you were only one point better, making the semi does not suddenly make you a muc better rider and/or him a failure!
