rabbit
Some great racing tonight. Nicki P deserved the win - was cheering him on bigtime in that last race- and Gollob looked like the Tomasz of old. Disappointment of the night was Bjarne - thought he looked well out of it - still Anton had a good one - some great switches off that 2nd bend. Felt gutted for Adams - what a sickener. If the other GPs are like this one I'll be happy. Couldn't give a rat's wotsit who wins it this year though... youngy105
Got to say Crump is all I dispise in speedway. Gob sh*te who said he should have won it, when he shouldn't have even been in the final! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Congrats to Nicki P, Crumpie and Gollob on their podium finishes. Mr Shovlar...speedway is a sport where there are winners and losers. Mr Rickardsson does not just show up and win, he has to ride his bike to do that. Sometimes he will not always win. When this occasion arises please be sporting to those who finished ahead of him rather than resorting to name calling. And what exactly is it about Jason Crump that you despise??? Talented, Successful, One of the best at what he does..........I see now...all the things you're not. Resorting to calling him a G*b*hite, on your other thread which is now locked, shows you're just scraping the barrel. Twice Crump beat Rickardsson tonight....I'd hazard a guess that Tony didn't complain too much....so what got your back up????
Steve Turner
I think the number of Nicki fans is grossly under-estimated, but many are ashamed to admit it As for the meeting...I have to say... ...didn't think much to the fireworks ! Steve Shovlar
So will only do better when he is riding well, if that was bad. Ride badly come 2nd imagine he rode well? Agreed. So rode well, come 4th, imagine he had rode as badly as Crumpy, he'd have been one of the first into the showers! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Was gifted a final spot. Was out on his ass before Adams packed up. Concrete Cowboy
Was gifted a final spot. Was out on his ass before Adams packed up. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Anyone would think it was the first machine failure in speedway

Was out on his ass before Adams packed up. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> are you trying to say Rickardsson has never had 'a bit of luck' in any of the GP's he's been in? if Crump was 'gifted', why didn't Rickardsson beat him in the final? Grachan
A friend of mine is totally into on-line betting. He knows nothing about Speedway so I told him to put his money on Nicki Pedersen in the Speedway GP. I wonder if he did and is now extrememly impressed with my Speedway expertise? I've been a fan since he rode for Oxford - that's not to say I agree with everything he does though.
Liesdale
What about all the bad luck Crumpy had at Cardiff last year then Shovlar - doesn't he deserve some good luck for once? You really are a poor loser, which makes tonight's result all the sweeter. Edited April 22, 2006 by Liesdale
Trees
are you trying to say Rickardsson has never had 'a bit of luck' in any of the GP's he's been in? Of course he is, Mr Rickardsson is obviously GOD to Shovlar ......... tch Your man got beat Shovlar, accept it!! He'll have to do better next time
Steve Shovlar
so what got your back up???? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The fact that Crump fluked a final spot. The fact that he rolled big time at the start, twice, and the ref let it go. At least his luck and cheating didn't result in a final win. That would have devalued the meeting completely. Hey, there are many folks on here that don't like TRick. So what? So if I say I don't like Crump why do you have the harrass me over it. We all have our favourites and the one we dislike. I am pleased that NP won tonight. He deserved to be in the final, didn't roll at the start, didn't need lady luck to lend him a hand and rode without incident tonight. So a big well done to Nicki Pedersen, deserved winner of the first GP of the year. As for being gutted that TRick didn't ein, well you have me wrong completely. TRick doesn't have to win all 10 GPs to retain his crown. He really only has to make the final 8 or 9 times and no one will get near him. Lets be honest. Crump has shown good form this year, but when it came to the moment to stand up and be counted, well, he wasn't in the room. Only the fact that Adams packed up allowed him a ticket to the final. He isn't going to be the one that TRick has to look out for. No, that las=dies and gentleman is N Pedersen, showing the type of form that won him one world crown already in his career. Pedersen is made of harder stuff than Crump, and when in the correct mind frame can do what he did tonight. he lacks consistancy, but he will prove to be TRicks biggest challenger. Sure people don't like TRick and slate him for what he did in the EL this season but they don't resort to name calling....that is best left in the school playground. Peter S.
You missed heat 17 then? Nicki clearly rolled! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He almost touched the tapes, had to stop, and clearly lost the start, then outrode the other 3 as he did in the semi and in the final.
