COME ON TRICK! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Surely you mean today's the day that Tomasz Gollob starts his march to the world crown he so richly deserves. I've got a good feeling about the aTomek Gollob for this season.

Mick Dundee
I'd definitely say Trick is still the man to beat, but form wise Crumpy is the man at the moment, all is set up for a great season.
orion
Come on everyone but tricky
jackofdiamonds
I've a feeling Jason Crump will pick up the crown this year. He just needs to produce his Elite form. TRick will be there as usual.

DanTheMan
well as a brit, im cheering for our guys, but i just want to see some good racing really, jason is going great guns this year as usual, so i reckon it will come down to trick and jc again, im not going to make a fool of myself and say who will win though
iris123
I've got a good feeling about the aTomek Gollob for this season. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hope it's not the same sort of feeling you had about Pietraszko Gollob to struggle into top 8 imo
youngy105
Crumpy is on fire at the moment in the Elite League. Slovenia is not one of his favourite venues but I'm still backing him for the World Crown. Come On Crumpie
frigbo
Best of luck to the other 14 riders for this years Championship (TRick apart). Hopefully someone will step up to the plate and deny the selfish, manipulating World Champion a 7th title. In particular i hope Rico or Scottly Pickles can bring home a GP win and both ensure a top 8 place.
T.N.T.
Well today is the day TRick starts his bid to become the greatest speedway rider of all time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Even if he does lift the title, in mine and many more peoples eyes, he will not be the greatest of all time. He just happens to have been dominant in an era lacking the world class stars and the birth of the GP series that has given him 5 of his 6 titles. While I take nothing away from TRicks brilliant skills, the fact Mauger had to do it against the likes of Briggs, Fundin, Olsen, Collins etc etc proves his worth while Hans Nielsen would have surely won at least four more titles if it wasnt for the fall at Bradford, the presence of Gundersen and only being able to ride in a few years of the GP era. Well, I've got this feeling for about 8 years <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Gollob was in the 1993 final, so really this is 13th time lucky for Gollob If injuries stay clear, I believe it will be between Nicki Pedersen and Jason Crump this season with possibly a suprise third place for Andreas Jonsson or Bjarne Pedersen. Subedei
Hope it's not the same sort of feeling you had about Pietraszko <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Pietraszko would've come good eventually and been a star for Oxford. But, alas, he wasn't given a chance and the team around him were poor.

What about when TRick really should have won it in 200 when Loram knocked him off and TRick got excluded? And the poor decision at Coventry when he was knocked off? he should already have had the record under his belt. You just can't say it was harder in the past. Riders such as Gollob, Holta, Crump, Pedersen etc woould have probably have whopped the oldies butts. More professional setups, no carting a bike around on the back of a car like in the old days. TRick might not be a favourite of yours, but if he wins it again this year the record books say different. TRick, best rider. Ever. Got a nice ring to it, hasn't it.
