Trees
lawson non starter That's a real shame, is he hurt or something? He's made a terrific start to the season
ash
From what I can gather some rider/s cant make it. Dont ask me who though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well the Rockets arn't riding, so Courtney should have been there (if Rye were riding Kennett and Boxall wouldn't make it either)
ylinenhare5-1
Apparently William is not riding, because he is still caught up with his exams. Real shame, as although KL is not one of his favourite tracks he has been superb this year - so you never what he might have done. Personally I think he would've clearly made the top 5, but I guess that is irrevelant now Edited May 2, 2006 by ylinenhare5-
Danzell
If anyone else is not riding who hasnt been mentioned, could people let us know please. I live in Lynn and didnt even know Lawson wasnt riding. Anyway for all of you who are travelling to support your riders, the weather at the moment is great, if it stays like this all day and evening, we may have to wait for the sun to go down. stevehone
been to the practise this afternoon ... track looks good (a little grippy for one or two on the start though ). i suppose if i had money on the winner tonight it would come from Kennett, Bridger (if he sorts his bike out), Wright, or Barker. i took plenty of pictures but will put them on my webshots tonight. Barker laid bike down well to avoid a nasty collision. Parsons exc. Both riders are ok. Ht2: Shame for Bowen. Was comfy in the lead but got wildly out of shape on bend 2, lap 3 and found himself at the back.Did very well to stay upright tho. Almost came off on final bend too! Ht3: Awesome ride by Bridger to storm under Brundle going into 1st bend, lap 2. Wright missed the gate but rode a clever race to pass Compton on lap 2 and got by Brundle last lap. Ht4: Jason King exc 2 mins. Mear in to replace him. From gate. Well spread out in that one. Ht 5: Brundle battled hard but made no real inroads on Dennis. Ht 6: King passed Courtney going into bend 3 lap 1. Courtney locked up badly on fourth bend which allowed Wright past for another second. Wright just is not getting out of the traps although certainly doesn't look slow. Ht 7: Terrific battle between Bridger and Boxall for first couple of laps. Bridger passed Boxall going into lap 2, Boxall cut back and nearly got him going into bend 3 bur Bridger just held on. Auty passed Barker on lap 2. Ht 8: From gate. Wilson by a country mile! Ht 9: Awesome by Bridger again. Kennett gated with him and looked to try and take him wide. Bridger read ir like a book to cut back and fly past Kennett. Bridger passed Courtney at end of first lap to complete hat trick of wins. Ht 10: Good battle for third. Dennis passed Compton lap one. Compton re-passed him next lap and looked to be heading for third but made error on final bend allowing Dennis through again. Interval after ht 12. Ht 11: From gate. Both King's look pretty sharp tonight. INTERVAL NOW Ht 13: Compton fexc. Fell just ahead of Auty who did well to lay his bike down to avoid an even nastier crash. Race to be re-run. At front J King had passed Kennett on first lap. Re-run: From gate. Kennett went a little too wide on first bend. Ht 14: Bowen fell second bend. Race to be re-run. Bowen exc. He did try and clear his bike but is obviously in a bit of pain. D King was leading at the time. Re-run: Bridger very wide first bend. Passed Pasrons at end of first lap but couldn't find a way past King. Certainly no lack of effort though! Ht15: Lively race. Wright passed Barker at start of lap two. Good tustle between Barker and Dennis passing and re-passing each other on several occasions. Ht 16: Boxall passed Brundle coming out of bend two first lap. Ht 17: Hopwood in for Bowen. Both Boxall and Wright passed Kennett in the early stages. Ht 18: From gate Ht 19: King won it by a mile. Never much in it between Barker and Compton. King throught to final. Ht 20: King passed Dennis at end of second lap Semi Final: Bridger, Wright, Boxall, J King Final line up: Bridger, Wilson, D.King, Boxall King had Boxall off first bend. Boxall hit fence hard but is up and not happy! (Not texters exact words!!!). All 4 back. Great battle for third. Wilson a deserving winner.
