Back With A Bang --shaun Tacey's Testimonial

Recommended Posts

The young swedish rider is Linus Eklof who has been putting in some awesome performances for his swedish club and is proving to be an exciting prospect, this will be his first time racing on british soil.

WIMBLEDON v SITTINGBOURNE yes you read it right, the interval will consist of a mini meeting involving the 2 clubs. We all see this as an exciting prospect with both clubs hungry for success, we hope that the loyal following of both clubs will help give the testimonial, the party atmosphere they are known for.

SATURDAY 9TH SEPTEMBER pre-testimonial disco- Additional bonus for speedway fans. Mildenhall v Somerset re arranged fixture, then you can choose whether to call it a day or party on in to the night. With gp on the big screen, disco, barbecue and auction, raffle and lots more. Tickets available from 18th August or on the day. With tickets for shauns pre-testimonial disco priced @ £5 adult £2.50 under 16 and free under 5s it should be a great day/night out.

I usually video Mildenhall home meetings but wish to use this opportunity to grab some action pics and such like so should there be anyone interested in filming this then great from my end and I guess you'll need to speak to Laurence.

Mark is really looking forward to taking part too --plus we have a major coup in that on stand-by we now have , for his UK debut, JAMES HOLDER ---brother of Isle of Wight sensation Chris!!!

James flew in with dad Mick this week to accompany Chris on his trip to Italy for the World u-21 final and is staying on after for as many rides as possible .

So James may well have his first taste of a full British meeting at Mildenhall on Sun Sept 10th in the Shaun Tacey Testimonial --watch this space for more news!

*** STOP PRESS ***** Well within one hour of releasing this news I got a text of Chris Holder to say that both he and James will now not be able to do the meeting as the Isle of Wight away fixture at Newcastle has been rearranged for the same day!!! So James will now not be making his full meeting debut after all in Shaun's meeting --which is a great pity. Back to the drawing board!!
