Joe Hicks rode a total of six matches for Glasgow over a two year period. That makes it 113, and Reading's Max Amor and Stephen Rose (Swindon) take the total to 115. I opened to post it thid morning and there it was. Les rode for Cardiff in 1951 and also at Shelbourne Park in Ireland in 1950. He was also previously active in NZ in the late 1940s. I quote from the front page of the New Zealand Herald dated 25/10/1960: - "Mr. Moore was the father of Ronnie Moore, former world champion speedway rider. "The winner of the Wigram race on two occasions, Mr. Moore was competing in the second race of the day. He was thrown out as his R. A. Vanguard Special overturned at a corner."
