pastrana199
Lee had a good practice and then was leading the first race when blew the motor he was riding - loaned to him by Trevor Harding Apparently Trelor isnt there for the sidecar meeting as racing in Tamworth. The Perth boys are doing well in the sidecar title I was told

jacknmarg
probably one of the better sidecar meetings I have seen for a while pleased to see mark plaistead and his passenger were unhurst after turning their chair over in the first heat. no disrespect to the treloar/plaistead team but it was probably a better meeting without them cause they are always in a class of their own and make winning look so easy. as i said no slight on either Darren or justin just acknowledgement of great talent and a great team. there was a bit of biffing and barging in the meeting but nothing dangerous only good hard racing. young corey gathercole proved again he is able to handle different types of tracks. the track was a bit rough for solos i think but corey showed the other young locals how to ride it. shame that lee redmond travelled all the way from WA only to have an ordinary practice and then pull out of his first heat when he was coming fourth and not be seen for the rest of the night. very disappointing for him i would think. im looking forward to the sidecar spectacular in 2 weeks jack
Bryn
Third place for "The Prince of Port Adelaide" I see! No doubt he, and others, celebrated in style at the Blue Room afterwards!
Greg
great to here that Lee Redmond is getting back on a bike or is this just a one off meeting
pastrana199
great to here that Lee Redmond is getting back on a bike or is this just a one off meeting <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He wants to concentrate on helping the younger riders develop. But he's considering racing in the WA title meeting which I think is at Bunbury end of this month??? He will be over in the UK end of May beginning of June and he already asked if he could have a spin on my bike, so you never know, hard to get rid of the bug once you have it
