Ray,

The only ones I feel confident about are 4. Jack Young. 11. Split Waterman. 14. Bjorn Knutson. I think 1, could be Svere Hardfelt but I am not 100%.

Its defo Jack Parker the Belle Vue rider on the inside in #6. Also, I am sure its Barry Briggs on the line in #3

Sorry but its the best I can do. I hope this helps. :)

(Handlebars are one of the keys, in this period. Over look them at your peril. ;):D )

Agree 14 Bjorn Knutson

1 I think Sverre Harrfeldt + Reg Trott?

10 I think Alan Smith

4 not sure it is Jack!

3 too tall for Barry Briggs ? Archie Windmill

11 is Split. I can tell even with my eyes. Also its Jack Young. Look for the clues Ray:

Split; long straight flat bars crouched over. Youngie: armchair style, no peak on the helmet, handlebars not too big etc..

I think 1 is Svere, not sure about Reg.

1 - Definitely Sverre Harrfeldt leading.

2 - Antonin Kasper leading, probably Les McGillivray behind.

3 - That is Briggo on the inside. I have a suspicion that is Malcolm Craven in front, and the other Wimbledon rider could be Cyril Brine or Dom Perry.

6 - Bert Roger Leading, with Jack Parker on the inside. Not sure about the guy at the back.

12 - I agree with Brian Leonard.

14 - Looks like Knutty, with Jimmy Gooch in 2nd.

16 - It's Reg Luckhurst.

I'll do some more research...

I've done some research, and I've found the answer to 3: From left to right, it's Jack Young, Geoff Mardon, Gerry Hussey, and Briggo. I just found the photo in one of my scrapbooks...

With 1, I would say that is Reg Trott, and possibly Jon Erskine with Sverre. I'm pretty sure that is also Sverre in 12.

5 looks very much like Wally Green, 8 is Cliff Watson, and 15 could be a young Norman Hunter.

I Emailed Reg Fearman He thinks they could be:-

No 3 is Barry Briggs on the line then Gerry Hussey

No 4 Jack Young

No 6 Bert Roger ? Jack Parker

No 7 Pat Clarke

No 9 Keith Gurtner

No 10 Alan Smith

No 11 ? Split Waterman wide handlebars

No 14 Bjorn Knutsson

No 15 Looks like Gote Nordin

He will have another look and post later
