21st century heathen
Can't help with airport information, but according to my profile pic, they ain't having any more GPs at Vojens! I was thinking of the WC. According to SGP website Vojens is confirmed for the final. Is that still the case?
KevH
It's possible that Hamburg is the nearest airport to Vojens (apart from a private airfield about a mile from the track). I'm not 100% sure, but I think I'm right.
Papa Bazarou
You may be able to help me. (hope so) Which airport is best to fly to for Vojens? It appears to be quite a long way from Copenhagen? For Vojens -fly RyanAir from Stansted to Esbjerg (1h 15min flight), then its about 45mins to 1hour drive to Vojens. For Copenhagen and the GP you've got Copehagens main airport (big carriers like BA etc.) then Malmo in Sweden (which is literally across the Oresund bridge 30 mins away) and also Aarhus for the cheap airlines RyanAir etc.

Joanne
What does 'Få bill' mean :?:
Jayne
I think that we've taken the easy option and booked thru travel plus. Thought the tickets were quite expensive at £46 tho
Guest danishfan
Få billetter - means few tickets...
GREDON
Tickets to all GPs are expensive this year. Prices have risen and rate of exchange has gone against the Brits. I paid £42.20 for my Danish GP seats.
Joanne
Få billetter - means few tickets... Thanks for that. Where I was looking it now says 'Udsolgt'. I suppose that means 'sold out'. 8) Yes, the tickets are expensive, but I think I paid more for the Prague GP than the Danish one. But I suppose it will be worth it. Hanne
Hi All.. 8) Just thought i'll inform you that there's a Danish Speedway League meeting in Slangerup the day after the Danish Grand Prix at Parken. Brovst are the visitors, and it looks to be a close meeting.. So why not round off the trip to Denmark by going to the meeting?! I hope to see some of you there ~ The meeting starts at 2 o'clock. If anyone is interested in knowing how to get to Slangerup from Copenhagen, just let me know, and i'll give you directions. Cheers Hanne

Hanne
Hanne, thanks for offer, please can you post directions from Copenhagen to Slangerup. Is is possible to travel by bus or train Hi GREDON. I have checked the trains from Copenhagen to Slangerup. Depending how early you want to get there (meeting starts at 2 pm) i got a few different options for you. Copenhagen (train station) June 29th to Frederikssund: Departs at 11.08 and arrives in Frederikssund at 11.52 Departs at 11.28 and arrives in Frederikssund at 12.12 Departs at 12.02 and arrives in Frederikssund at 12.52 Departs at 12.22 and arrives in Frederikssund at 13.12 Frederikssund is pretty close to Slangerup, and there's usually a bus going to the track, but because it's a sunday theres no bus (typically) :-( ...So the easies way for you to get there, will be to take a cap the rest of the way, it's not too far, so it shouldn't be too expensive. Hope this helps - If there's anything else, i'll be glad to help. Cheers Hanne
