It was nice to be back at Sittingbourne meeting people from way back :o a real nice day out lots of fun and good natured banter.

Thanks to both Gary Cottoms for help with the bike and nice to meet the Birchitts and Basebys again .

..And there was me thinking i had won the who can eat the most competition :P

Oh yes at 10.30 before a wheel was turned on track,Matt appears with a Bacon roll in each hand :D:D

Remember Matt i was lithe and sleek ;) when i was 20,to busy ducking and diving during the blitz.

How i survived during rationing i will never know :D

Is this because they had run out of pies?

Thought pies were Pat's fave food.

That'll never happen, he's got a small fridge fully stocked in that van you know. You may even notice the Ginsters sponsorship on the side of the van.

Meant to say Pat, Ginsters are Buy One Get One Free in Sainsburys at the moment. Sorry if anyone in Gloucestershire was wanting to eat Pasties this weekend but all Sainsburys stores will soon be reporting a shortage

Pat,

I don't believe that... you must have been at least 40 during the blitz :o:shock::D

Getting back to topic, great to hear that Chris is coming on in bucket loads... will enjoy watching his progress in the second halves at Oxford.

All the best

Rob

I did speak to him early this morning, but I couldn't decipher what he was saying. He wasn't making much sense but I don't know if it was because it was still early or whether it was cos he still had his mouthful of his breakfast courtesy of Ginsters
