WATigerman
I also have what appears to be confirmation of the fourth rider in 88. I thought it looked like Peter Carr, and on checking, I found that in Heat 2 of the Belle Vue-Sheffield BL Match on August 21, 1982, Peter Carr finished last behind Brown, McMillan and White. Steve <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm more than happy to accept that! - was the final score from the meeting 40-38 with the Aces getting a 5-1 in heat 13 please?? Thanks Chunky. WATigerman
88. I thought Kenny McKinna but he joined in 83 so from the team of 82 i would say either Louis Carr or Peter Ravn, however i seem to remember Rod Hunter appearing a few times during the season. So all things considered i am going to say. Keith Bloxsome. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought it was Kenny Mckinna too, but we've since had it confirmed as being Peter Carr. In fact I have a first bend pic from the same race just after the tapes went up and it can clearly be seen to be Mr Carr, of the Peter variety. Thanks Tac Sub. It's surprising what one forgets Regards. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> .........not necessarily the end Trackman. Wasn't quite sure of the level of interest but I'm happy to keep going until the pictures run out...............will add another 100, starting today. My interest in showing all these pics is purely to take a trip down memory lane with those familiar with the era (early-mid 80's), and to show pictures of riders of yesteryear, for those who are not................... Thaks for the kind words by the way Trackman.
