scabby3
If you're thinking of fly / drive, then try Wizzair, Luton-Katowice, £92 return inc taxes etc. Katowice to Wroclaw is a nice stress free drive on a modern motorway, about 2 hours. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You are looking at a good 2.5 3hrs to drive from Poznan to Wroclaw.. done this trip in a taxi a couple of times and I can say its quite hair razing at times !!! robolots
I have been looking at the Hotel prices for Wroclaw. Is it me or are they that cheap? I must of missed something somewhere Any recommendations??
Mateusz
Hotel Trio - when you gather 5 people for a double bed room it's only 10 zl per night Joking of course - it's only a variant for some desperate ones I think that Rico and others who have been in Wroclaw can recommend a wide range of good hotels. And yes - generally the prices are quite reasonable.
Ewa Kitten
As a student, last year, I paid 25 zl per night in Hotel Europa. It was not a best room ever but at least I had a bed for myself (not like the others from the city called Bydgoszcz)... All in all, the prices are really low comparing to UK but also to other big cities in Poland. It all depends where you're searching. I wouldn't call Radisson or Mariott cheap but I like the floors they have there
Rico
I think that Rico and others who have been in Wroclaw can recommend a wide range of good hotels.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've only stayed in the Radisson (really lovely hotel, but so it should be with 5*s) and the Mercure Panorama (nothing special, but comfortable enough). Only problem with the Radisson is that last time I heard someone checking the price it was quite expensive, compared to the rate we managed to get ourselves. I haven't heard anyone say anything bad about any of the hotels in Wroclaw and quite a few have been mentioned at various points on this forum. J-D
We have stayed at Holiday Inn before near the train station, very nice and a top breakfast too. Only thing i could fault it for was it had a small bar area and staff were a tad slow on the refills! Radisson has a nicer bar area.
