Mateusz
Don't forget the club PRL too - we must take you there this year, NikkiF will thoroughly recommend it It's gonna be a very intensive night But there's a train to Bydgoszcz at 6:40 a.m. which should suit me Hi Mateusz, is that the Irish bar in the square? (...) Yeah, maybe not directly at the old square (like Spiz with my beloved beer and Highlander) but a few steps from it only.
HenryW
It's gonna be a very intensive night But there's a train to Bydgoszcz at 6:40 a.m. which should suit me Yeah, maybe not directly at the old square (like Spiz with my beloved beer and Highlander) but a few steps from it only. 6:40 train home???? You'll be up for a late night in the pubs and clubs then, I presume I will not envy you when I slope off back to my comfortable bed at the Radisson knowing you have the delights of PKP ahead of you!! As for your "beloved beer"...dunno how you can drink that stuff. I'll stick with the Zywiec, thanks!

pugwash
We are making a bit of a holiday of it. Monday to Wednesday in Zakopane then Thursday to Sunday in Wroclaw. Usually stay at the HP Park Plaza which we discovered several years ago, but it now seems that everyone else has discovered it and there's "no room at the inn". (Block bookings by BSI and Travel + Tours no doubt). Still we are now staying at The Art Hotel which is within crawling distance ot the main square. For anyone new to the city HERE'S a street plan. Rynek is the main square. Hp PARK is at the top of the map, over the river (denoted with a red telephone) facing Wyspa Slodowa island. The Raddison is at the right hand side of the map on Purkyniego (denoted with a blue telephone sign ) facing the Panorama. Mercure is to the right side also at the "tp" sign. All within a short walk of the Highlander, Sphinx, Guiness pub and a million other bars and restraunts around the main square. See you all there, it's gonna be a knockout. Perhaps our "M.C" Rico will suggest a meet-up or three. Edited February 8, 2006 by pugwash

Rico
We are making a bit of a holiday of it. Monday to Wednesday in Zakopane then Thursday to Sunday in Wroclaw. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sounds like a fantastic way to do it - really enjoyed the week I spent in Zakopane in Dec 2004. HenryW and I are flying into Krakow on the Wednesday and getting the train across to Wroclaw during the day on Thursday to meet up with the other 6 of our group. Perhaps our "M.C" Rico will suggest a meet-up or three. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just wondering what the M.C. might stand for Major Chav ? Hopefully we will see you and your good lady on the Thursday night around the square, if we don't bump into you drop a text and we'll sort something out (if you can still remember the lesson I gave you last year). I'm sure we can arrange something nearer the time for a meet-up for those going. There are plenty of watering holes to be found on the main square. sjw ministerofport
Hi Pugwash, went and had a look at the Art Hotel last year, it looks really nice, and as you say it's so close to the square.
