brixham mickey
taken from the Swindon web site ROSCO BUOYED BY TEST MATCH ALLOCATION! Following the release of the official fixture list, Swindon co-promoter Alun Rossiter is delighted that Blunsdon will be hosting a Test match between Team GB and Sweden on 11 April. He commented: 'This is another big meeting for us to host and as such, I'm delighted. It gives our supporters another chance to see Tony Rickardsson in what will be his final year of racing. He is one of the true class riders in modern speedway and it will be great to see him in Test action at the Blunsdon bowl. There is also the prospect of seeing Lee Richardson representing Team GB and I'm sure everyone will recall his memorable showing in the World Cup meeting at the Abbey last year. Hopefully, Seb Alden will be involved with the Sweden team, thereby keeping up the Robins' level of involvement. All in all, this is another great step as we endeavour to keep Swindon Speedway moving forward.'
Grachan
Not sure what sort of crowd they'll get, though, on a Tuesday night sandwiched between Reading home and way.

bazaar3
I can remember when test matches used be to so popular. Now its just a meanlineness fixture that gets in the way of riders taking a day off from their hectic league schedules or the GP series. Well at least we can see who has the best fourth and fifth bikes etc.

Silver Bee
id have to support Sweden though <{POST_SNAPBACK}> GRRRRRRR Nothing personally aimed at superguest but this really annoys me ! How much would you be annoyed if you were riding for YOUR country and fellow country members were supporting other teams? I might not be that fond of some of the riders we have had in world cups over the years but I have supported every single one as they have been out riding for OUR country. I am of the opinion that everyone should do the same. We live in this country and brought up loving speedway at BRITISH speedway tracks, without these you wouldn't even see the foreign riders ride.
