Hazzman
After last year's trip to Bydgoszcz (return all by coach), the Leicester Collective have nominated Lonigo has the grand prix to visit. Help is needed hopefully, of the four one intends to travel by plane and others by train. So main cities in area, how far is Lonigo from there? Money Quotes?!? Hotel, grub, drink etc. You know the drill. Just help need. Best stadium sitting arrangements?!? Ticket Prices?!? The thread for Bydgoszcz was a great help, last year and help would be much appreciated. Not revealed all however, Bydgoszcz was a great place to explore as we felt like three fresh fishes out the water and thrown into the ocean. Rob B
Two main cities are Venice and Verona, Lonigo is between, slightly closer to Verona. Last year we flew to Venice, spent the Friday in Venice then drove over to Verona which was our base for the two nights, quite a few riders seen around Verona. hannibal
<{POST_SNAPBACK}> We went to Lonigo last year. We stayed in Verona, hotels probably cheaper than Venice. If you have time, Lake Garda is an inexpensive bus ride away and Venice accessible by train, also cheap. Transport to Lonigo is a little more difficult! From Verona, take train to San Bonifacio. Opposite the station is phone box with taxi number. Take taxi to Lonigo.(8 miles.) That's easy enough!. The problem's coming back. Last year the meeting finished well after midnight and by the time we got the taxi back to San Bonifacio, the station was closed, so we ended up taking the taxi all the way to Verona. Cost around £60. You could do as some canny Newcastle fans did and stay at an hotel in S. Bonifacio or even Lonigo itself, but the hotels are few and far between, so you'd need to book early. Don't be put off! We enjoyed great racing and a lovely warm evening.

Car Hire it seems could be an answer.
Rob B
Yes we bumped into plenty of speedway fans in Verona who were struggling in how to get to Lonigo and back, we hired a car at Venice airport, I suppose even if you hired a car for 24 hours from somewhere in Verona it wouldn't be that bad.
