Gemini
Great photos Steve. I was surprised to see Martin Rogers. Does he come over from Australia every year? By the way surely this is Katherine Tate? http://community.webshots.com/photo/548269...046933380GuDfzj

Shortcrust
Just about recovered from my weekend away. Although I don't think I have yet completely defrosted from my trip to Mildenhall yesterday afternoon!! Back to Saturday though. Thoroughly enjoyed myself, was great to make yet more new acquaintances and to meet up again with some other friendly faces from previous times. Pre-dinner drinks was good fun, thanks to M & J for letting us invade your room. Down to dinner and two years ago we were lucky to have a very good table and this year was no exception, (thanks Vic). Was so pleased Crumpy was guest of honour this year, one of my faves when I got back to watching regular speedway at KL in 2000. Nice to see some younger faces being invited to these do's. Hopefully if things go to plan we'll see a lot more 'younger' riders becoming members of this fantastic association. So looking forward to reading Jason's new book too. Micman, really good that you were able to get those interviews, can't wait to see them wherever they surface. So glad you and Tracey enjoyed yourselves too. Looking forward to next year already. Was much cheaper going back to my room every so often and topping up from my own supply.

[/color] <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Girl after my own heart! Was shocked though whilst at the table I slipped another vodka into my glass and the ol' boy sat next to me said "nice one" and got his whisky out of his pocket. SS who would you want to see as Younger Members?

Gemini
and regarding the picture ... do you mean the person on the left or the right?? If you have to ask then she can't look like Katherine Tate. I was referring to Tracy on the left. Now is that Tracy's Mum or your Mum on the right? Shortcrust
To be honest I'm not bothered who attends the dinner. It's just great to see so many faces from the world of speedway both past and present in the same room. As Steve says, if things can be worked out then maybe we will see some new faces in the next few years or so. Have to agree though, would love to see the likes of Michael Lee join up. Maybe have to have a little word next time we see him around Mildenhall or KL.
