Mylor
Damn....miles and miles away again!! Spoilt you are........!!!!! Ipswich to Reading 129 miles St Austell to Reading 234 miles Glasgow to Reading 388 miles. Source = RAC Route Planner
crazysue
I am sure you could avoid the Heathrow area by making your way to High Wycombe Junc 4 (stopping in for a coffee) and going down the A404 and along the M4. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Now that sounds a good idea.....but can I have a cup of tea instead of coffee Mylor, its not just the miles but the actual time it takes to get there. Kings Lynn is only about 60 miles away from me (I'm not in Ipswich but slightly further out in the sticks) but it is driving time equal to that of getting to Coventry (and blooming horrible roads to go with it!!). Might be a little more palatable now I have that offer from Joanne though!!!

London Witch
All EL tracks apart from Ippo and Peterborough need a trip round the M25 for me. I won't be joining you at Jo's for a cuppa, I'll be having tea and scones at Rico's instead.

SuzieQ
So! Do we think they will ever make the venue official or will we need to guess until early July? According to the SWC Website all Venues were due to be confirmed by the end of November, yet here we are in Mid January with only the Swedish event confirmed! SuzieQ
I could have understood if Sweden has been the first round then they could have just announced at the end of Event 1 "see you in two days time at..........................." Then at Event 2 it would have been "see you in two days time at ......................" Then at the Race off it would have been "see you in two days time at ..................." Unless Event 1 is behind closed doors and therefore at Event 2 it is a case of "this is what you would have seen had you been allowed in at ..............................., but never mind all that and we look forward to seeing you in two days time at ....................................." Darn it! Bet I have given the BSI some ideas there now!
