crazysue
Damn....miles and miles away again!! Would have much preferred Coventry, Peterborough or as Steve Hone said....Kings Lynn (even though I have said I will never drive there again after the hassle of last year). Must admit, with all the waiting around in the queue we did for the infamous World Cup at Poole (The red light saga), we never got to appreciate the sea front or any of the surroundings, just the bloody car park! SuzieQ
I'm sure they are Steve, through rose tinted glasses anyway , which brings us back to Poole Harbour, surely the most beautiful harbour in the world, with the most beautiful sppedway track in the world only five minutes walk away. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> and those great cups of coffee just 5 minutes away! Joanne
But you said it Kev, or are you called Darzet Steve (I knew I was going mad like Mike Baldwin )
KevH
and those great cups of coffee just 5 minutes away! 20 minutes if you go the way I do Tabs , but yeah seriously, that is one good thing about Poole.

Joanne
I suppose Reading has great coffee 30 mins away if you get lucky with the traffic lights although Darzet Steve may want a beer
Sandie
hahhahahahahahahha <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well it was worth a try!!! And Sue - I typed Reading into Route planner and according to some guy called AA he said its closer for you than Coventry (but only by 10 minutes). Coventry would have been nicer though. Large warm bars, toilets which are clean, huge free car park, lots of food outlets and a decent stand. Reading - your 'aving a giraffe! Joanne
It may be nice next year fairy4ever but this year seems a bit soon. Track racing is not bad and it is close to my new house.

crazysue
Fairy4eva....on the routeplanner Reading is actually closer but with the hassle of Heathrow airport and the M25 in reality would take longer to get to than the very easy and almost no hassle Coventry....plus I like Coventry, I know my way there!! Plus I hate the M25 after a lorry decided it wanted my lane the day before Scott Nicholls testimonial and bashed into my car
f-s-p
This is straight out of the Wiggy-book. In the book he's pro knockout formula, now done and dusted, and also that speedway is a saturday night sport. Stadiums way past their prime, filthy dog track covers and slightly mishandled pits. Add to that the tractor that is held together with sponsors stickers, and it all looks great when done with floodlights and clean bikes. Thats Reading SWC for you.
