Gemini
What's the scenery like round Reading? Any chance of lying on the beach beforehand, going for a boat trip or relaxing whilst looking at fantastic views across a harbour? ..... Must start looking up Beachfront hotels as we all know everyone uses the World Cup as an excuse to have a weekend away. Do you think my 2s & 6d will be enough? Sandie
Dont suppose there is a chance of cheaper tickets seeing as there is no rent to pay to the stadium owners this year?!
KevH
If this is true, can anyone blame BSI? They have made a large investment at Reading and it wouldn't make any sense whatsoever from a business point of view to hold this meeting anywhere else. stevehone
might as well hold it at Kings Lynn ... proper track, much improved stadium, announcer that the Rye House fans can't stand, and plenty of parking (that is supposed to be improved before the season starts) **EDIT** and i'm 25 minutes up the road Edited January 9, 2006 by stevehone
tarabanko
Its not a tidy stadium at Smallmead. But I think it can be a good racingtrack. The venue will be refurbish I belive then if a World Cup meeting will be held there.

Joanne
Reading for a World Cup Maybe I should have kept that tin of paint I threw out. They are going to need loads to make the stadium more presentable for the day.
KevH
Kings Lynn docks are a lovely sight in the summer Kevin <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm sure they are Steve, through rose tinted glasses anyway , which brings us back to Poole Harbour, surely the most beautiful harbour in the world, with the most beautiful sppedway track in the world only five minutes walk away.
