Mr Snackette
An earlier post suggested that the 2006 fixtures were due for release Friday 9 December. Anyone have any news?
Mateusz
They haven't released them yet. On Thursday there was a meeting of promoters in Czestochowa and they established the 2006 calendar then. However, it must be approved by PZM as well. PZM were to approve it on Friday but I guess they did not I check PZM's website every day so when they release it, I'll put it here. From my sources I only know that Bydgoszcz ride their first match at Leszno and then at home against Gdansk. tommy
Yep, it's the thursday before the GP. "stosownie do regulaminu", means GKSZ will deceide where the final is going to take place. Edited December 12, 2005 by tommy
f-s-p
Jep, but which final? Since it looks like the day after the GP is a final round of the playoffs, they might be too far from Bydgoszcz. It might be more convinient to travel for this thursday meeting and leave for home early on sunday...
tommy
Oh yeah, sorry MDMP is Junior Team Championship
f-s-p
Thanks. If thats gonna be anywhere near Bydgoszcz (a train ride), it might be worth the trip...
tommy
Also who ever is planning an early trip for the Wroclaw SGP (May 6th), there will be league meetings on the Wednsay (May 3rd) in Bydgoszcz, Tarnow and the nearby Leszno and Zielona Gora. So you can make it a triple-crown trip with two league meetings and an SGP.

gooner_girl4eva
I am planning on going to the Wroclaw GP and then a match on the Sunday - which is the most local league match to wroclaw? I would be most interested in going to see Rzeszow - is that local or easy to get too? Many thanks
Rico
Hey GG4E Rzeszow is not close by to Wroclaw - its about 250 miles I think. We are looking at going to the Ostrow v Zielona Gora First Division match (about 1hr 45 by train) or either of the Second Division meetings at Rawicz or Opole (about an hour away by train). Big favourite is going along to the Ostrow match though as it should be between the two heavyweights of Division 1. I have been promised that the Zielona Gora fans will be better behaved than last year at Leszno. Rico
gooner_girl4eva
Thanks Rico Shame Rzeszow is so far away- looks like we won't be considering that after all - might consider Czestochowa yet even though thats a bit of a trip and the match you have mentioned sounds good, would like to know who races for both of those teams! I'm sure the Zielona Gora fans can't be much more badly behaved than last time The Thursday matches before the Gp looks good as Leszno are at home, would the English riders race in that or would they have to see out their contracts to their English clubs? Hoping Ryanair pull their finger out and sort the Stansted to Wroclaw flight soon
Subedei
Well, signed so far: Zielona Gora: Lindgren, Walasek, Okoniewski, Staszewski and Nowaczyk, with the possibility of Hamill joining as well. Ostrow: Max, PK, Ferjan, Risager and Jedrzejak. Edit: I assume Robacki's pizzas will be relocating from Bydgoszcz to Grudziadz? Mateusz
I assume Robacki's pizzas will be relocating from Bydgoszcz to Grudziadz? Yeah, we lent him to Grudziadz. Thanks Rico Shame Rzeszow is so far away- looks like we won't be considering that after all - might consider Czestochowa yet even though thats a bit of a trip (...) Unless I have any exams the day after (8th May) I should be going to Czestochowa to watch Bydgoszcz v Czestochowa - top Ekstraliga match This year we had a similar great trip in May - after the GP in Wroclaw, spending a whole night at the old square drinking and admiring various ladies ), we went by train to Tarnow. It was a sort of madness but great fun as well Bydgoszcz-Wroclaw-Tarnow-Bydgoszcz - almost the whole Poland on one train ticket called "weekend ticket" which costed 55 zl ! I really suggest you buying it if you wanna travel by train for longer distance in Poland during a weekend. Grudziadz's not far from Bydgoszcz..a quick commute for Robacki, I'm gonna search out his Pizzeria next year. After someone questioned me going to Poznan, I noticed they have signed ZG's grandad, an ex-Leicester rider!! They don't sell beer in Robacki's pizzerias so I rather don't recommend them... IMHO there's nothing better than a spicy pizza a cold LECH

What time are you getting in the stadium for Bydgoszcz next year, Mateusz?
