Subedei
I notice that Czestochowa's stadium is being completely revamped during the close season and the plans for the stadium look hugely impressive: http://www.stadionckm.com/ Click on "Projekt" to see the plans. With such "state of the art" facilities, surely Czestochowa must have potential as a GP venue?
iris123
Looks pretty impressive indeed. That is just a model though, does it say it will be finished for the next season?Just wondering.Teterow have also published "plans" for their stadium which look very nice, but doubt they will be built.Obviously a Polish team have a much better chance of acheiving such plans. Subedei
Well, I've seen photographs of the "old" stadium being demolished, so you've got to hope it'll be built. Or Czestochowa will be without a home. Whether it's built to the plans is another matter. Edit: And here's the "old" stadium being demolished: http://sportowefakty.pl/index.php?dysc_id=...5&news_id=84084 Edited November 6, 2005 by Subedei

One of the local football clubs here, regularly publish plans for a new stadium and none have ever been started Think everyone has got bored of hearing the same thing for the last 20 years Well there's no turning back from that! pugwash
Looks impressive, certainly if floodlights are being added it could feature as a G.P venue but don't know if the Town itself is up to much, regarding Hotel accomodation, night life etc. Nearest airports appear to be Cracow and Katowice where as the existing venues Bydgoszcz and Wroclaw are serviced by their own airports. I for one wouldn't want to drop one of them for this venue. Maybe BSI will give it a go in the SWC.
Hazzman
Should be interesting, Czestochowa could possibly be the venue for the SWC Event 1. Not far from Cracow which is an interesting premise.

MR.ANDREY
looks like it must be GP 2007 there
Hazzman
looks like it must be GP 2007 there <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Bydgoszcz is already signing up for 2006 and 2007. It looks a good bet for the WTC meeting this year.

Wroclaw has the best night life etc. and is probably the best option for a longer stay. There's not much to do in Czestochowa or Bydgoszcz so they would better for one-day tournament - Grand Prix. Mateusz
Yup, it's close to Cracow which is a lovely city tho' with no speedway. But forget about Katowice - it's hell.

Mateusz
Krakow has 2nd Div. speedway, "Wanda Krakow" Yeah, but around May when GPs start they are usually already broke
tommy
I'm guessing "Big Wanda" will hang 'em up end of july
