Mateusz
Not about speedway but connected with speedway I think. From this Sunday (30th October) RyanAir start with their direct flights between London (Stansed) & Bydgoszcz There is one flight every day - from London @ 10.30 & from Bydgoszcz @ 14.00 - which takes 2 hours 10 minutes. RyanAir - Bydgoszcz Needless to say it's a great opportunity for speedway fans to get to Bydgoszcz easily and cheaply and for Poles to travel to England. I read in local newspapers that all tickets for first flights in coming days are already sold out and this air connection is going to be the most popular from all RyanAir's flights between London and Poland So, for example, if you'd like to watch a league match in Bydgoszcz you can even fly on Sunday as the plane lands in Bydgoszcz at 13.35 local time. No need to hurry as league matches start not earlier than at 16.00, in summer at 18.00 or even 20.00 Then a wild night in Chesterfield and a flight back on Monday at 14.00. KevH
Thanks for the info Mateusz. Certainly hope to take advantage of that next season. When are the Polish fixture lists due to be published?

Rico
Barncooseboy, Wizzair have been flying to Poland over a year. Lovely planes they have as well. My favourite budget airline without a doubt. Rico
Steve Shovlar
Yes this is excellent news and I will be going over a few times next year to see the local derbies between Bydgoszsz and Torun. One question though. Arre the big meetings ticket only or first through the gate? No point in flying out only to discover its a sellout in advance. No point in flying out only to discover its a sellout in advance. Don't worry about it - there has never been a sellout of tickets. Anyway, if some of you plan to come you can always let me know and I'll buy tickets earlier.

Subedei
And don't forget to join the Polonia Bydgoszcz forum young Steven. It has an English section, so you'll be able to give the Poles the benefit of your wit and wisdom.
Hazzman
Great news, hopefully I will be using these to get over for the GP, looking at the possibility of going a league match, my mate who travels to Eastern European countries wants to go to Gdansk soon, if so might pop down Bydgoszcz for the day. If I get job his year, I will definetly being Bydgoszcz some point of the year. Fixtures, November then? Any chance of the play-offs being on the same weekend as Bydgoszcz GP? Mateusz
Any chance of the play-offs being on the same weekend as Bydgoszcz GP? Maybe but not at Bydgoszcz as on Sunday the stadium's still held by BSI.

I hope it not too far. Gdansk or Torun to see Polonia win the Esktraliga maybe?
Steve Shovlar
When I went over for the GP, I had to fly to Warsaw then drive 3 hours on dodgy roads with plenty of police ready to pounce on speeding drivers. Got an on the spot £40 fine, even though I was within the limit. ( In my opinion!) On the Sunday went to Pila one year and Torun the next. We were greeted by the owner of Torun who though I was a celeb and let us have the best seats in the house by the starting gate. he even turfed out his missus and kids so we had front row posh seats! TRick was riding for Torun and we called him over and he managed to get Mike Golding and entourage in with us. Drizzly day and Crump got a max. Torun won. My guess is when the GP is announced the plane will be booked up straight away, so get read for a stampede! I will go Saturday, back on the Monday, and get a league meeting in as well. Hope RyanAir are not on the ball and know about the rush for tickets on that day.
