Is this based on the hearsay that the stadium has been told to keep that week free by any chance?
Boyscout
I heard Oxford and wolves are the two dark horses. poor tracks for world cup campaign, heal the world
London Witch
Fingers crossed for Peterborough. Is there any reason why its been brought forward by two weeks this time?

London Witch
..And if you want it to be at Swindon, you need your brain tested!
Dark Horse
i feel poole may get it, on basis of 2 years ago, but knowing the fim, they may use cardiff for the final

shazzybird
but knowing the fim, they may use cardiff for the final <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Can't help but feel they will shoot themselves in the foot if they do, with the distance of the place from a lot of tracks and the prices they charge at the hotels on top of stadium tickets, think people will either go to the GP in June or the WTC in July. So looks like it's back to Eastbourne and Poole Tabbs get my room ready I'm packing the suitcase
mymy02
Be great at Poole !! I have seen a few details that are in the pipe line for changes to the stadium and they look good.
The Cat
i hope poole gets the nod. it was a great final when it was there <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It was a great final at Poole in 2004 and will take some beating... however i would not hold it there again.. it was far too cramped and spoilt it somewhat.. may have to ban the deck chair brigade! Mateusz
That's good news as this time I'm gonna be somewhere in the southern England I hope the final will be in Poole.
crazysue
Well much as I like Dorset I hope it is not held at Poole because unless you are in the front row standing you aint got a hope in hell of seeing what is happening on the track. I would much prefer Peterborough, nice and easy to get too, very large space and a nice grassy bank so plenty can see what is going on. Hazzman
I'm for Sheffield and Peterborough myself. Though South Coast would be nice. If Cardiff got the final, I want Newport as the race-off
Lanzilla
Might be at Smallmead now?
SCB
If Cardiff got the final, I want Newport as the race-off Exactly, it's obvious really. Wales is the Mecca of World Speedway, we have the best GP, so it's only fair to show we can host the best SWC. So Newport it is
