Any chance young Pavlic will get the nod to increase interest from Croatia?
KevH
So, with Zagar a proper GP rider, who's going to be the wild card? Hans Andersen if there's any justice.

Mr Snackette
Anyone organizing a trip to Slovenia ? Do not mind booking flight but have problems getting to hotels/track etc. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Travel Plus tours will be there, and at every other GP for that matter. Jimbo tells me that after a couple of years basing the tour in Zagreb, for 2006 he plans a return to Ljubljana. Brochure should be out early new year, but you can always give him a ring on his new office number 01473 730000.

gooner_girl4eva
Yeh I might consider this, is the best bet to get a flight to Ljubljana then? How far would that be to Krsko by car or train? Edited October 27, 2005 by gooner_girl4eva

How far would that be to Krsko by car or train? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Its actually easier to fly straight to Zagreb (Croatia) and drive across the border to Krsko - works out at around an hour on a straight road. Driving from Ljubiana takes around 1hr 45 mins.

The Cat
Thanks Rema & Ben will look into it <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We flew into Klagenfurt (Austria right on the border) last year with Ryanair... very cheap. Hired a car and spent a few days in Slovenia, beautiful country... well worth a couple of days.. As for Krsko not much there accomodation wise, however just down the road from the stadium is a good place to park the car and kip down for the night.. free!!! Paragon
The Terme Catez resort is about 8 miles down the road near Brezicie, they have 4 hotels, many appartments & a large camp site. It has some of the best swimming pools i've ever seen as well as a sports centre. Its net exactly cheep to stay there but is well worth it. Also most of the riders stay there so you are likley to bump into Mr Rickardsson out on the lash the night before the GP. http://www.terme-catez.si/en/
