iris123
Just heard that Kevin Wölbert has also signed for Zielona Gora
Subedei
I see that. Zielona Gora are certainly busy little bees this close season. They've already signed, as far as I can tell, twelve riders, with possibly Billy Hamill to follow. A good job Mr Dowhan is a wealthy young fellow. I see that Adam Shields has signed for Lublin. tommy
I was at the press conference at which bith riders were present. Lindgren signed a 1 year contract and Wolbert 3 for years. Both nice lads, wish'em all the best in 2006. iris123
As Subedei says,a lot of riders this season. How are they all going to fit in tommy?Seems a lot of juniors what with Kevin in as well
ZKZ Kitten
They say it's a good thing to sign so many riders as then you can choose between them, when you have a tough or an easy meeting. Dowhan wants to win 1st league next year, and that's for sure. So want I. Let it happen I believe
ZKZ Kitten
I see that Adam Shields has signed for Lublin. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> and Jacek Rempała from Unia Leszno.
tommy
I think you'll see more juniors in the line-up against weaker teams where foreign riders won't be called up. Plus most of these juniors will compete in all kinds of u21 comeptitions (and there is a lot of 'em) and that's where guys like Wolbert will be able to develop skills on almost dail basis. ZKZ Kitten
That's what ZKZ's website says
Leliwa
seems like Falubaz just got a worthy oponent. Ostrow lineup looks mighty impresive: Peter Karlsson, Max, Risager, Ferjan, Jedrzejak, M.Szczepaniak, Wegrzyk this is going to be interesting

Mateusz
Recent rumours say that Crump is closer to Wroclaw than to Torun. Torun's line up seems pretty poor now. That's good that Ostrow have taken both Karlssons as Torun won't get them

Subedei
Torun's line up seems pretty poor now. If they don't get Crump, Wroclaw's line-up will be looking pretty poor.
HenryW
Yes, glad to see 1st div. won't be a yawn-fest for Falubaz . That team put together by Ostrow has to worry you slightly, does it not? Any thought that Polish clubs might stick together and not hire too many foreign riders has clearly been blown out the water by this team! Do you expect all of the foreign riders to race together, ie Max, Karlsson, Ferjan, Risager and Moller all in the one team, or will they just use a couple for each match and pick them depending on the strength of opposition? Following that question...who provides the money for Ostrow? I presume they must have a good sponsor as PK and Max don't usually come cheap!! iris123
I would assume they won't all be used at once Henry.Risager,Moller and Pettersson are all juniors. What with Polish juniors as well, can't see them getting in unless the opposition is very poor.Maybe hardly used in the first team at all, just in junior competitions for Henrik and Robert.Morten is a different class. Subedei
I see the Kasprzak brothers have signed for Leszno. Presumably this means Robert Kasprzak is likely to get his licence back.

Davi, I gotta say I'm pretty confident ....Due to financial reasons Ostrow won't ride full strength most meetings, I think the only meetings will be against Falubaz. ZG's core line up is made up of Polish riders-Okoniewski, Walasek and Staszewski, theoretically much stronger that Ostrow's (Wegrzyk, Jedrzejak and Szczepaniak). Also, if PK, MAx and Ferjan won't get paid after a meeting they just won't show up for the next one, polish riders don't tend to do that and will rider every meeting. Ostrow's title sponsor is Intar (building material supplier). ZG is Kronopol, and boy do they have a lot dough .

I gather ZKZ's president Robert Dowhan isn't short of money either. But does it really matter? From what Mateusz has said, the Ekstra Liga will have 10 teams in 2007, so enough room for ZKZ and Ostrow.
