FlyinRyan
Thanks for that one! Best laugh I have had for a while! You seriously (I mean "Seriously") think that Loram is not good enough for the GP's? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> On recent form Loram would be a third heat leader or second string anywhere other than Arena. It's pitiful watching him these days, he should have packed it in after his last injury, he is nowhere near GP standard, which is a real shame. We only have Nicholls who I would consider a decent class of rider, although he will never be World Champion imo. Richardson is lucky to be in next years series, how embarassed will he feel if Andersen gets chucked out.
shazzybird
they are the TOP BRITS we support our own not other countries <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Speak for yourself if Lee is in a race I'd rather cheer on anyone else than him Brit or not and that coming from a Brit Fan (only time I ever cheered him on was when I was drunk during the WTC in Live Updates and I'm sure Crazy Sue made me do it! some riders ride better when riding for themself and i think he is one of them <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep in that case I must agree give Lee a placing he rides for himself whether for Club, Country or Individual. Hang on Rabbit.....we are seriously thinking of bothering to argue with a BLOKE called IRIS?!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Robyn that's only so that if they make a girlies section Iris can join in
KevH
Scott Nicholls won the Czech Golden Helmet today. This proves he can do it when the pressure is on. I hope he learns from whatever he did today and takes it with him into the GP Series next year.
rabbit
And he passed Nicki P in the final and lived to tell the tale... Definitely worth a place on that achievement alone. Just joking before the NickiP disciples start buidling rabbit-shaped effigies to burn. Edited October 2, 2005 by rabbit

Subedei
Nicholls won the Golden Helmet in Pardubice. So what? Was TR there, or TG? And anyway, Ales Dryml finished 3rd and Jesper B Jensen 4th, both ahead of Jason Crump and Hans Andersen. Maybe they deserve a place as well. rabbit
You really are a cheerful soul sometimes Sube. Lighten up and don't take it all so seriously. You might enjoy it more.
Subedei
Well, if Jurica Pavlic had won (and he reached the "small final"), would everyone have been saying he deserved a chance in the GPs? Thought not. Everyone clutches at straws to justify the unjustifiable.
rabbit
It's not that Sube..I just don't think anyone else is as bothered about it as you.

I hope he learns from whatever he did today and takes it with him into the GP Series next year. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't think that was ever in doubt, though I sometimes wonder whether he's like the select few who have the ability to go all the way but have a psychological barrier when it comes to the REAL prize. Don't think it's true, but there's no doubt that there are many excellent riders who seem to get to the brink of greatness but somehow pull back at the last moment. And it's not really predictable who they are. I feared Crumpie might be among the number after coming second three years in a row, but he finally got there. Will Nicholls prove his talent, and if so, when?

Past his best, getting himself into more scrapes every year because he's getting slower.
