Subedei
What's the point? The whole thing has been devalued by the chauvinism of BSI in nominating the no-hopers for the series next season.
Star Lady
I'm sitting here congratulating myself on being awake enough to grab the phone and change the hotel dates before the Cardiff phone lines went into meltdown Don't really care who is riding, I go for the social aspect as much as the racing. Mimmo
Tickets are now on sale http://www.speedwayworld.tv/cardiff2006/ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Do you by any chance know what ticket prices are for the various areas. I've looked at the seating plan, but that gives no indication.
rabbit
Mimmo - best idea is to click on a selection of the prices and see what seats it throws back at you. Ordered mine last night during the Sky meeting - spooky or what but we've got the exact same seats we had this year. Not complaining cos they were front row and a great view - just £5 more expensive per ticket for the priviledge. Come on BSI - I know it's a showcase event and all but the words 'fleecing the fans' are starting to edge in. £60 for a ticket and that's not even the top whack - not exactly going to encourage the casual attendee is it? I got home last night from my night out to find my hotel booking had already been changed for me. We've even now managed to get into our first choice hotel. Well done H and J, good thinking. I've just booked the tickets too. We're going to sit in the upper tier for a change. We've never been so organised.
Gemini
Ordered mine last night during the Sky meeting - spooky or what but we've got the exact same seats we had this year. Ordered ours now and have had a similar thing happen. Just one seat away from where we were this year. Great news! Only £13 each too. (There is something to be said for getting older.) Just got to sort the pup out now as we will already be on holiday in North Wales that week. It wasn't in our plans to have her with us, but unfortunately moving the date a week back has put a spanner in the works.
Joanne
Really impressed with H + J, LW. I had to flap my arms up and down to even get on the computer in order to change the booking. Then when I did, someone kept interupting me on MSN The tickets seem really expensive for next year. They are not going to get that stadium full with them prices
Gemini
How much have they gone up overall? The £27 tickets are now £29 so that's not too bad - just a £2 rise.
London Witch
Very impressive Jo, I've trained them well. But even more impressive was their dad letting them use his credit card to confirm the booking!! Gem, I think the family ticket was only £65 this year, a £10 increase.
