robpeasley
Seems that Billy Hamill crashed out of the VMS Elit v Smederna play-off match tonight. Could anyone from Sweden confirm how Billy is? All the best Rob

KevH
Thanks for posting that Subedei. Do they have a play-off for 3rd place between Smederna and Luxo?
Subedei
I've no idea. But tarabanko would know. Send him a PM. So, as I said in the Elite League section, Tomasz Gollob rides for Poland (SWC champions), rides for Tarnow (looking like Ekstra Liga champions) and rides for Vastervik (every chance of winning the Swedish title). Is there a better "team" man around in speedway today?

tarabanko
The finals will be raced on these dates: Tuesday 27/9 VMS Elit - Västervik Wednesday 28/9 Västervik - VMS Elit The meetings will be shown LIVE on Swedish Tv4+ The meetings starts CET 19.00,,, 18.00 for you british. You can follow the meetings here on race day: www.speedway.nu It is really hard to predict which team that are taking the gold, but I guess VMS Elit will defend their gold from last year. Subedei
It is really hard to predict which team that are taking the gold, but I guess VMS Elit will defend their gold from last year. I think a lot depends on which Tomasz Gollob shows up for the meetings. For Vastervik, BP will be solid and score lots of points, but success depends on TG doing the same. And these days you never really know which TG is going to show up.

All the best Rob <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A bit late but I must clarify this: David makes the gate, closely followed by Mattias who takes Billy wide throughout bends one/two. Billy then suffer an engine failure on lap two and the home riders can get their fifth 5-1 of the night. So no Ef while leading for Billy, not sure it was an Ef at all, I think he gave up (possibly on a sick engine).
