Trees
We love your speedway coverage SKY but can you please extend the show to cover the rostrum presentations, especially that of the World Numbers 1, 2 and 3 after a GP season, thank you! SCB
You beat me to it. Bloody joke. They do some good work in week with there highlights from the few days prior to the meeting they were showing and then ruin it by failing to show the riders on the podium!! HOW ANNOYING!!! Grachan
It's 11-15. They already extended it by 15 minutes didn't they? If meetings are going to overrun by so much, you can't blame the schedulers.

Richspeedway
I know it is not Sky's fault if sports over run and mean that they run late but they have 4 sports channels (1,2,3, Extra) so why not have 2 channels with live action and if something over runs then put it onto one of the others? superjoe
The thing is with sports like Speedway and Tennis you cannot set a finsh time, that must make scheduling a nightmare, especially on a night where there wa so much live sport on. Speedway or tennis will never be put on over football ( which was on two channels tonight and i believe live golf was on the other. Sky did well to catch up after being late starting but more people will be interested to watch a grand slam tennis semi-final than a speedway presentation, thats just the way it goes

Mr. Clemens
Is there any reason why the whole event cannot have been recorded including presentation cermonies? Sky could then present a repeat showing of the entire Grand Prix at some point when scheduling allows, therefore fulfilling their obligation to the fee paying public. Yesterdays unsatisfactory presentation left the viewer with the feeling that it was quite within the rights of Sky to rush through the presentation of this Grand Prix. This being, perhaps, because the main issues concerning the Grand Prix season were already settled so the rest of it will be of no concern to the viewer. It was said in the Speedway Star recently that speedway was the third most popular sport shown on Sky Sports. If this is indeed the case, is it not reasonable to expect to see the whole event in its entirety?Should the Grand Prix be shunted off the screen for sports that come lower down in the pecking order? The public use Sky and pay for the privilege of watching the programs they buy Sky packages for. Should the public be denied their right to see the programs they pay for, in favour of programs they have no interest in watching, then simply accept it without expressing their concern? Richspeedway
I think I remember someone writing to sky bit back about why can they not show the podium and celebrations etc and Sky said that they could not as it would over run and sadly they could not do that, then what happens last night? The tennis is over run and they let it carry on so not sure what they really meant but hey guess we got to see it in he end. Just hope we can see all the meeting on Monday, unless the live staring competition goes over the time it is meant to before it.
andy moore
What was wrong with putting it on Sky Sport News or using the red button and having a choice of Tennis OR Speedway.
Chezza
To add insult to injury, as soon as the speedway finished, it went straight back to show the tennis that had been on prior to the delayed start of the speedway. Shame on sky for not having the decency to show the presentations -unless of course they do show it on the repeat (whenever that may be). At the ELRC the announcer at Swindon at the time said they they had to stop ther riders coming out out on the track to pick which gates they wanted in the final because it would make the sky programme over run and because there was live coverage of something or other on immediately after sky had denied them doing that. It's such a shame that speedway has to be denied the full coverage - can you imagine the uproar if the football presentations were cut short? Sorry, rant now over!!!
