Subedei
Ekstra Liga Grand Final (1st Leg) - Tarnow The Ekstra Liga Grand Final starts on 11 September, 2005, with TG's Tarnow hosting Andreas Jonsson's Bydgoszcz. In the regular season meetings between the two sides, honours were exactly even - both sides won their home meeting 48-42. So, it should be a classic encounter. But Bydgoszcz will have to be on their game - Tarnow have thrashed Wroclaw and Torun in their home play-off meetings so far this season. ------------------------------ Tarnow..56 9..T Rickardsson..3,2',3,3,1 = 12+1 10..R Wardzala..0 = 0 11..J Gollob..0,1,2',2 = 5+1 12..S Burza..3,0,3,1',0 = 7+1 13..T Gollob..3,3,2,3,3 = 14 14..M Rempala..2',2',2',1',1 = 8+4 15..J Kolodziej..3,3,0,2',2 = 10+1 Bydgoszcz..34 1..A Jonsson..2,2',3,1',3,2 = 13+2 2..J Krzyzaniak..1',0 = 1+1 3..R Sawina..2,1,2,0,0,3 = 8 4..M Robacki..1',0 = 1+1 5..P Protasiewicz..1,3,1,0,1,0 = 6 6..K Klecha..1,0,0,2,0,1 = 4 7..K Buczkowski..0,1 = 1 Ht 1..Kolodziej, Rempala, Klecha, Buczkowski 5-1 (5-1) Ht 2..Rickardsson, Jonsson, Krzyzaniak, Wardzala 3-3 (8-4) Ht 3..Burza, Sawina, Robacki, J Gollob 3-3 (11-7) Ht 4..T Gollob, Rempala, Protasiewicz, Klecha [E/F] 5-1 (16-8) Ht 5..Protasiewicz, Jonsson, J Gollob, Burza 1-5 (17-13) Ht 6..T Gollob, Rempala, Sawina, Robacki 5-1 (22-14) Ht 7..Kolodziej, Rickardsson, Protasiewicz, Klecha [E/F] 5-1 (27-15) Ht 8..Jonsson, T Gollob, Rempala, Krzyzaniak 3-3 (30-18) Ht 9..Rickardsson, Sawina, Jonsson, Kolodziej [E/F] 3-3 (33-21) Ht 10..Burza, J Gollob, Buczkowski, Protasiewicz [Ex] 5-1 (38-22) Ht 11..Rickardsson, Klecha, Rempala, Sawina 4-2 (42-24) Ht 12..Jonsson, J Gollob, Burza, Klecha 3-3 (45-27) Ht 13..T Gollob, Kolodziej, Protasiewicz, Sawina 5-1 (50-28) Ht 14..Sawina, Kolodziej, Klecha, Burza 2-4 (52-32) Ht 15..T Gollob, Jonsson, Rickardsson, Protasiewicz [Ex] 4-2 (56-34) ------------------------------ Notes: 1..Ht 5 and Protasiewicz replaces Krzyzaniak in a tactical move by Bydgoszcz. 2..Ht 7 and Kolodziej replaces Wardzala for Tarnow. 3..Ht 9 and Kolodziej replaces Wardzala for Tarnow. 4..Ht 9 and Jonsson replaces Robacki in a tactical move by Bydgoszcz. 5..Ht 10 and Buczkowski replaces Klecha for Bydgoszcz. 6..Ht 10 and disaster for Bydgoszcz as Protasiewicz gets up to mischief and is excluded. 7..Ht 11 and Klecha replaces Robacki for Bydgoszcz. 8..Ht 13 and Kolodziej replaces Wardzala for Tarnow. 9..Ht 13 and Sawina replaces Krzyzaniak in a tactical move by Bydgoszcz. 10..Ht 14 and it's Burza-Kolodziej for Tarnow and Klecha-Sawina for Bydgoszcz. 11..Ht 15 and it's Rickardsson-T Gollob for Tarnow and Protasiewicz-Jonsson for Bydgoszcz. 12..Ht 15 and Protasiewicz gets up to more mischief for Bydgoszcz and is excluded. 13..And Tarnow take a 22 point lead to Bydgoszcz, will it be enough? ------------------------------ Bonus points calculated per British Elite League. Hazzman
Tarnow's super massive 394 metres track would make this grand final incredible. Hopefully Polonia manage to keep the score down to make, a super grand final at Bydgoszcz. I thought Sullivan was gonna be replaced by another foreign rider? Hazzman
Hmm, seems a risky choice if so. 1930 start at Tarnow. Live on Polsat Sport for the Poles out there, 15zl (or 3 pounds) for the back straight. If only Ryanair done them flights early, then this would be a possibility for about £50 quid. 4.30 start at Czestochowa. Just under 3 pound a ticket. If only I was a millionaire, I would go to every Esktra Liga stadium once a year. Also final of the Liga 1, would will be joining the big boys and replace ZKZ? Rzeszow (without foreign rider Mikael Max) Vs Ostrow (led by Peter Karlsson). Just over 3 pound a ticket. Both teams look equally balanced be interesting to see if they could cope in Ekstra Liga. 12.00 Start 3rd Place in Liga 1, Mark Loram's side Gorzow which I have drove through and met fans from are taking on Rybnik 7.00 Start. Loram isnt riding although. Also Liga 2 Final. Rowne (Ukrainian team) versus Gniezno. Looks like a good Zuzel day in Poland. tommy
I believe Jonas Davidsson has been linked with Czestochowa: Cze-wa had talks with Davidsson but they fell-through as he can't make today's meeting and CZ will ride w/o foreigner...unless the managment is trying to bluff the opponent. Subedei
Depends how quickly the Poles act. If they suspend his straight away, would he have a licence for tomorrow? And he'd probably never ride in Poland again.

Subedei
As an added extra today, 11 September, 2005, we have the first leg of the battle to see who'll replace Zielona Gora in the Ekstra Liga next season. It should've been a PK-Max battle, but, of course, Rzeszow are without their injured star. However, they do have Ipswich's "missing" Pole Baran in their ranks. Racer X
How?Just get a British one, can't he <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think the point with Andy is that he is effectively a Pole. If he rides in the same team as another "foreigner" I guess his Polish license classifies him as a "Pole". He could get a British license but that would mean he would no longer be a "Pole" for the purposes of the Polish league and his usefulness would be considerably diminished. (Am I making sense here) What this boils down to is yet another very sticky situation for A Smith...
iris123
Racer X Understood. But maybe there is no conflict as Polskizuzel says.Maybe it was always agreed that his British commitments come first. And of course if there is a conflict when do they know he isn't riding? An hour before the meeting? Is it too late by then?He gets an ACU licence for the rest of the season. Then if he is wanted by a Polish side next year(after all he might already know he isn't wanted by his club)he gets a new Polsh licence
