lionheart
Having now engaged my brain (AND realised the implications of the points position) I would like to amend my forecast. Being an ultra professional I think that Mr Trick will find enough points to to complete his taking of the crown, and then sit back to let the others fight it out. After all why risk your neck when it's all done and dusted ? Having said that, can I please take Tricky off my forecast which should now read; Gollob Hampel N.Pederson J.Crump STILL probably miles out
Presenter
The full line-up for Leigh Adams testemonial at Leszno on Sunday has been announced: - Adams, Rickardsson, Sebastian Ulamek, Maciej Kuciapa, Krzysztof Kasprzak, Joe Screen, Grzegorz Walasek, Robert Sawina, Jason Lyons, Jacek Rempala, Damian Balinski, Robert Miskowiak, Steve Johnston, Adam Skornicki, Jaroslaw Hampel and Antonio Lindback. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Surely this meeting contraveans (sp) Testimonial Regulations.....I mean, NO SHANE PARKER ??? outrageous!! Subedei
Yes, sometimes it is but that's because it's all about the money. For many years (especially in Gollob's best years) Polish fans have been the main boost of money for BSI and generally GP organizers. I think it's got more to do with the Polish authorities. Presumably at some stage this week BSI and the FIM took control of the Bydgoszcz stadium and track, before that it was under the control of Polonia Bydgoszcz and the Polish authorities. And, if they wanted their riders to have a practice session, I doubt there's much anyone can do about it.
BritPete
Is it right that the Polish competitors should be allowed additional practice on the track - if this is happening? Does this not give them an unfair advantage? It sometimes seems to me that international speedway is loaded in favour of the Poles. I shan't make a prediction as such, but I really would like to see Mr Crump delay the coronation of Mr Rickardson even further. 'Twould be good to keep the a little suspense running, even if it is artificial! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Poland and Sweden have done such things before, the only country that doesn't, is silly old England! Subedei
Well, just about 30 minutes to go before the off. For inter-meeting chat why not try the Live Updates site at the following address: http://speedwayupdates.proboards60.com/ind...14364449&page=1 The GP section is not "members only" as far as posting goes. Guests are welcome to post as well. So you don't need to register and it saves bandwidth here.
