Subedei
And you still sometimes wonder where Gollob's wandering off to on those first bends. Another wonderful ride by the great man, even if he couldn't catch Adams. What's wrong with Lindback tonight? Richardson beats Jonsson, now that, in my view, is a shock. I don't think Rickardsson's too interested now. And why should he be? Edited August 27, 2005 by Subedei
Steve Shovlar
Looking at that last ride from TRicj he is just going through the motions. NO need to take any risks and just let someone else have a chance of winning a GP. As for Antonio, it looks like he is uncertain what line to take. Inexperience showing through tonight. Subedei
And TR looks interested again. Had time to gather his thoughts and is back charging. A fantastic ride from Gollob to win Ht 13 from gate 3. I thought Jonsson would take that one. Nicholls still hit and miss. Lindback miss and miss. Sullivan is pathetic. Subedei
And Nicholls loses out in the first bend again. He'll be lucky to make the semis.
ReadingRacer05
Did i hear right that LEE RICHARDSON is in the semi's?
Subedei
And Gollob goes a wandering on the first bend of Ht 20. He can't afford to do that in the semis. He's got first pick for gates and he's got to be disciplined on the first bend, or he'll be toast.
ReadingRacer05
Oh yess!! Lee's in the final!!!!!!!!! He's on fire tonight!
SCB
I've said it before, I'll say it again. Lee Richardson is mentally a far better rider than Scott Nicholls. Scotty has gone into semi-finals before now as one of the favourites and messed up, however, tonight, Lee went into the semi as a rank outside and pulled off a greta win and has now made a final. Go Lee!!!

Subedei
And Gollob does remain disciplined on the first bends of both the semi and final and wanders off with an amazing fourth Bydgoszcz GP in a row. But what a super show from Richardson. As SCB rightly notes, everyone goes crazy for Nicholls, but in the semis he always fluffs it and goes out. Richardson made it to the final and scored a super second place.
superjoe
New number 1 brit.... LEE RICHARDSON not quite, still way behind in the race for 8th and will have to rely on the ridiculous selection system to gain a gp place next year. Still, a great night for Lee showing what he can do when it goes right for him. Well as for teh gp itself what an unexpected win for Gollob
Iffoid
Fantastic second spot for Lee tonight - I felt like he had won when he just made it to the semi's, so amazed when he got through to the final after his first two rides tonight (not that we don't know that he is capable of it ) Really pleased and nice to see a third name on the GP's winners roll call for this season. BertHoven
Well done, Lee Richardson!! It's no disgrace coming second to the mighty Gollob on his own track in a country where speedway is the national sport and Tomasz Gollob, the Polish equivalent of David Beckham. I repeat: Well done Lee Richardson. Anyhere other than Poland you would have won!
Trees
Lee was great at Wroclaw and carried on in Bydgoszcz. I'd like to know if he was on the same bike he used in Wroclaw. Very well done to him Peed off that Leigh didn't make the final, after riding so well, he's got to have a better one in Italy than Pedersen to get his third, come on Leigh!!!!!!!!! Crump sneaked into the final with thanks I guess to Pedersen riding his man again (that's not very clever Nicki ) Congratulations to Mr Gollob, loved his victory parade, very clever!! tigerblues
Well done Lee!!!! Obviously I wanted him to win it, but there was just no stopping Gollob once he got out of the gates well. Best Brit on the track....at least he didn't make a numpty of himself in the semis, like one Brit does a lot...*cough* Scott Nicholls *cough* Edited August 27, 2005 by tigerblues
BritPete
Great stuff from Lee, not bad for a rider that cannot overtake! but of course, there will always be those that are completely blind to his ability! What about TR though? "Simply the Best!" And as for Nicholls! well, his bike is at least as fast as TR's, thus proving that it ain't what you got, it's what you do with it! and Scottie, it seems, when it comes to the crunch! just ain't got it! lionheart
Two of my four finalist predictions were right so I suppose it a'int too bad. Pity there wasnt a bit more dirt on the track but I dont suppose most of the riders would have known how to cope if there had been. Scottie and Leigh had bits of hard luck, particularly Leigh, with his retirement, was it a chain ? Thought Crumpie did well to get second place in his semi-final, from fourth position. When you see a change in results such as Lee Richardson achieved in the second part I'm surprised that no one asked for a carb check,(Or even a capacity check) Anyway, well done to him. I dont think the TG victory surprised anyone.
