Certainly gave Gollob a run for his money. If only he'd get some top quality machinery over here he could do well. Remember how good he was for a while when he got his new engine?

He clearly makes his living from riding in Sweden and treats the BEL as a hobby!

Kick him out!

Britpete, you are obviously a prat, with the right encouragement he can perform. Maybe when he is around people who HELP him he goes well. Think about it! Perhaps he gets support in sweden not a b*****king when he doesn't score above 10 points every meeting like he does at swindon. Just a passing note, Lee (no disrespect) scored less.........hmmm what does that prove?

LOL, if you believe that, you will believe anything! he treats our league with utter contempt. And he makes it very obvious.

Also, Nitram, why can you not answer a post without being abusive? just because you do not agree with what I said does not mean that you should resort to name calling. As many people are saying, this forum is going downhill fast, and the reason is not hard to see.

I think almost everyone at Blunsdon, from top to bottom, is with Britpete on this one. He is the Swedish U21 champ, beating Lindback and Freddie, and he battled so hard in the GP and the fact he was given the wildcard, but this only puts his UK riding into dismal contrast.

I hear he now is telling people he hates Swindon. Fine - but the crowd reaction has formed gradually and is based upon his on track performance - as it should be.

His European form just underlines the fact that he is clearly on 2nd rate machinery and saving himself for Sweden. And that really REALLY gets our goat. Also with Ljung - but then he is more of a battler and has a more rocky baptism this season.

Jonas is a gate and go geezer and when that type of rider is on slower bikes with less commitment then you end up with one heat win in the (almost) fastest time of the night and then distant lasts in almost every other (much slower) race. The extent to which he and Ljung can be behind all other riders is jaw-dropping-Shuts off early and does nothing at the back. Poor Olly still looks 1000% more spirited.

Jonas will still have a higher final avergae than Mads or Frenchy but they both battle hard and are exciting to watch. Better that than this.

If a new Russian does turn up at Swindon this year then thats gotta be a step in the right direction because ultimately, even losing can be exciting if your team are fighting to the death, but Swindon 2005 have officially given up it seems and even gave up 1/2 way through the Panthers meeting until Ales' terrible crash.

Here's to 2006.

i think part of the way he rides in sweden etc is also do do with the skill of his mechanic over there, when he had his good patch over here it was at the time his swedish mechanic was helping him. :)

I said a similar thing to someone at Swindon last night, His best meetings have been when his swedish mechanic has been with him

Pity his swedish mechanic could not have been with him all season,

But looking back over Jonas scores so far this season that was his best score

plus he also scored 10 at Swindon the next night and apparently his swedish mechanic was there that night as well
