This is a man on the top his game. He captained his team to world cup glory at the weekend, dropping 2 points in 2 meetings against the worlds top riders.

He rams the back of Simon Stead yet manages to stay on his motorcycle and win the heat.

Step in Nicki Pedersen.

Gollob makes a hard ride under him on bend 1.

Nicki does what is almost exactlly the same move back and yet Gollob cannot keep the bike up. The Polish referee excludes Pedersen.

Another disgracefull decision from 1 of the worst referees. Almost as bad as letting the race go when Hampel was in front and the tapes clearly going unfairly!

But they both had reasons to be excluded to be honest. Gollob for falling off when he had plenty of space to ride around Nicki. But Pedersen did knock his arm and leg. I think its a close call really, I personally would have excluded Gollob, but I guess because the ref was Polish he didn't get excluded.

If you watch the replay again you will see that the back of his bike definately knocked his arm and I think he just hit Gollobs leg but I agree with you about him getting excluded because of his name not how he rode.

I have the greatest respect for all the riders but have to say Nik Ped is the one rider who strains that view. However, as much as the posing midget with the hairblower lacky gets on my twit, there is no way he should have been excluded!

think your wrong here,i tell you what you go to a polish league match with 20,000 and ask if there cheats... i think they are more passionate and dedicated than most other nations

IMO he never touched Gollob.

Nicki DID touch him and deserved to go. It could well have been because the ref was Polish as he didn't really look at many replays before making the decision, but Nicki did touch his elbow. The tapes incident was diabolical and should've been called back and I do think that Gollob was fortunate when he clashed with Hampel. BTW, was this the ref at Cardiff?????

Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion, but it makes me feel sick when someone declares that "Poles are the ultimate cheats". What a disgusting, racist thing to say.

Then someone else calls Pedersen "the posing midget" - pathetic!

So what if there fans are dedicated ?

Doesn't stop them from cheating !

Take Poole for example....

You do talk a load of tosh at times SC.

A bad refereeing decision doesn't make the Poles cheats. It was a tricky track out there and Gollob going off was unfortunate but not unexpected when you see the slime off the racing line. He was lucky to not get excluded but that's the way it goes. So easily could have been the other way around.

Edit...sorry forgot me smilies! ;)

Special credit to BP. He could've stayed down and taken his chances, but he got up and off the track. Very honest. Maybe too honest, to be honest.

I don't think the Poles are cheats. There may have been a little gamesmanship tonight, but no more than TR and Andersen at Cardiff. TG took a couple of chances and got lucky. Maybe he could've stayed up, like he did in a couple of later heats, but he didn't. He went down and got a decision. Just as TR and Andersen did in Cardiff. And plenty of others have before and plenty of others will in the future.

No, watch the replay and you'll see Gollob makes contact with Pedersen NOT Pedersne makes contact with Gollob. VERY VERY different.
