Rico
If you haven't been to Leszno before Hazzman (which I'm assuming you haven't from your query) it is a superb place to view speedway, within what is almost a large bowl with good views from all around the stadium. My recommendation would be to get there at a decent time and try and get somewhere up high-ish on the back straight. I'm trusting that the Zielona Gora fans will be sending a plane that day congratulating their rivals superstar on his 10 years service (eh Tommy) Rico

mojo
Thanks for all the help on Bydgoszcz - sounds like it will be a good experience ! Papa B, we too are returning on the Monday am flight to Luton, bit worried about getting back to Gdansk that early in the morning though. Perhaps best to stay all night in the bar. Looks like Sunday will be sightseeing in Bydgoszcz!

Mateusz
Looks like Sunday will be sightseeing in Bydgoszcz! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There's not much to sightsee but you can always try However there are nice places to spend some time on nature, e.g. parks or generally places around the Brda river. Whats the time difference from here to Poland. Let's say we r one hour older

My clock will constantly changing with number of borders to go through on a coach. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hazzman don't worry. There are no borders any more it's all Europe. If you're going by road then the only real border crossing that is in operation is Germany / Poland. France, Belgium, Holland and Germany don't actually have frontier posts any more it's just one big country, only the language changes. At the German / Poland frontier post there's no real formality these days, thankfully, hence the huge queues have disappeared. Papa Bazarou
Pugwash - when are you going out this week, which route ?
pugwash
Was going Dover- Calais, Eindhoven, Berlin, Bydgoszcz but now unfortunately I have had to cancel due to builder starting work on my roof a week early. I now only have half a roof and need to be at home whilst work is carried out. Couldn't put the roofer off or likely wouldn't see him for months. Hope that everyone has a great time in our absence and have a great birthday Sharon.

I can understand your roof being more important than likkle ole me's birthday (feeling guilty yet?) but more important than Bydgoszcz! I know a good psychiatrist if you need one Seriously though, thanks for your good wishes, hope all goes ok with roof. TST
