Mateusz
A question for every-year Chesterfield's visitors: is there a striptease at Chesterfield ?? Asking seriously as I've never been there before (I'm still a polite young boy ) but today my uncle was joking about striptease there. Looks like I didn't get if it was only a joke or not so I'd like to know what we can expect on Saturday's night ;)
pugwash
Don't think that there is, but if there is one you had better not look.

f-s-p
But you can expect to see half the riders and their staff there, because it's (last year anyway) the hotel that organizers have booked for the the GP. Is it the best in Byd...z? Edited August 14, 2005 by f-s-p
Mateusz
Is it the best in Byd...z? You mean a hotel or a club (Chesterfield)? The best hotels (the most luxury) are City and Pod Orlem. It depends on individual preferences. Pod Orlem is in an old art nouveau style, City is a typical modern hotel. I've never been to Chesterfield yet so it's to compare it to the other clubs in Bydgoszcz. Probably one of the best ones in the city, but I know some other that are not bad either - e.g. Zentrum or Kuznia.

I, personally, really like the Pod Orlem, as is probably proved by the continual usage by Rico and myself! Chesterfields in the last few years has been great for a speedway fan. Plenty of speedway fans and "personalities" appearing there on the GP night. Whether I would consider it a great venue on any other night is probably up for debate The other slight concern this year is that the ELRC is the next day, so the rider's that are usually in there might choose a more conservative night....not everyone can be like Stoney...2001 I think it was when he partied the night away in Chesterfields, then won the PLRC the next day. Oh, and I have never seen "adult entertainment" in Chesterfields, but maybe I was just in the wrong place!

tone deaf
We're taking 7 year old daughter with us to Poland. Staying in Brda. Is it ok in Poland to take kids into bars? If so, hope to see you there! Edited August 15, 2005 by tone deaf

If so, hope to see you there! I don't know what the actual laws are in Poland, but it shouldn't be a problem in the Brda as the bar is just part of the reception and foyer area, not a separate room as such....if that makes sense. If so, hope to see you there! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well I just did a search on the net and apparently there is no minimum drinking age, but as someone said the bar is part of the reception area, so shouldn't be a problem. Look forward to seeing you and the family there TST
