Just seen on the Official World Cup site that Jason Crump is out of the race off tonight with a sickness bug, his place will be taken by Steve Johnston.[/color]

There go Oz's chances then!

I like Johno, but he's been in such poor form this season.

re Crump - Did he catch that from Lee Richardson? cos if he did he should still ride.

I was going to say Poland & Australia, but I'll go along with the rest of you & say Poland & Denmark now Crump is out.

Very strange...just gone back to the speedwayworld.tv site and the article about Crumpie seems to have disappeared from their news headlines although if you click the link above the page still comes up. Did they jump the gun on this one cos i'm darned if I can find it now!

Can someone else look and tell me it has now gone from the site and that I'm not totally losing the plot?!

Well, the Aussies are making a better go of it than I thought they would. Shame Sully missed out to Bjarne in heat 15. Very disappointing. I'm pretty sure though that the Danes would be in big trouble right now if Jason was riding. Damn, after having just seen heat 16 it looks like it could now be slipping away from the Aussies. The Danes have still got their joker yet...

Those last two comments were obviously made at the halfway point where the Danes went though a bad patch, the Aussie's wouldn't have got through with Crump riding as he would have done any better then Adams really they way the Poles were riding.

I'm still confident that my 5/1 bet on Poland made on Saturday is going to come through.

*****COMMENTS*****

Heat 1: From Gate

Heat 2: Well Spread out

Heat 3: Good race between Sullivan and Andersen

Heat 4: Adams totally missed the start, both himself and Nicki passed the Pole on lap 1

Heat 5: Johnston excluded for taking Rymel into the fence, even tho i gotta say i dont think there was that much contact, if any.

Heat 8: Johnston passed Suchanek

Heat 9: Good race with Watt nearly fencing Nicki, Gollob won easily.

Heat 10: Good riding by Shields

Heat 12: Super last 2 laps involving Jonno and Puk

Heat 13: Adams takes Joker ride

Heat 14: Awesome riding by Shields, to hold out Nicki

Heat 15: Super last lap battle between Ryan and Bjarne, with the Dane getting it on the line.

Heat 16: Nicki Pedersen in for Bjerre.

Re-Run unsatisfactory start, All 4 back.

Fantastic race, Gollob missed the start, passing Shields lap 2 and all over Nicki, with the Dane just winning on the line.

Heat 18: Great race between Adams and Andersen passing and repassing

Heat 19: Great first lap, Johnston passed all 3 into the first turn but Nicki then passed him on the home straight of first lap

Heat 20: Hans Andersen takes Joker ride, Ryan Sullivan in for Davey Watt

Heat 21: Dodgy first corner with Johnston lucky to avoid Dryml. No way back for the Aussies now i fear.

Heat 22: Lukas Dryml replaces Topinka as a Joker

Very tight first lap again, Walasek great maximum tho

Heat 24: Fantastic riding by Holta to pass Nicki

Heat 25: Suchanek excluded for crashing.

Another great ride by Gollob

CONGRATS TO POLAND AND DENMARK

Thank you all for looking in, Good night
