Heat 25....A rider can win his country the World Cup by gaining a solitary point. From the start he goes down on his own at the first bend.....the referee is from his country..........do you honestly think he would exclude him?..........I think not.

Erm, like a Pole excluded a Pole in Poland in the first SWC final?!

Can I take it you think that Poland being 6 down had nothing to do with luck at all then?

Not lucky at all, bloody clever management (I would say that as I had already said to dad that I'd do the same ;)) and to me it was clearly Hampel was going though the motions.

What a meeting. I thought the Poles looked very smart. Didn't think much of the Aussie kevlars though.

I liked the Aussie Kevlars. anyone else notice though that Ryan Sullivans Had a different colour Green down the side?

the Poles looked very smart what with bike covers aswell.

Track got better as the meeting went on and Jonsson was superb as was Adams and Gollob. Adam Shield was the surprise packet and rode very well.

Definitely. I wonderd if they would try it and without a doubt that's what they did. As Tony and Kelvin were going on about Sweden looking set to wrap up the meeting I was shaking my head and mumbling (in a non-insane way of course) 'no they're not. Hahahahaha'.

Wouldn't it have been interesting, though, if Rickardsson had suddenly slowed on the last lap to let Watt through. (Later EDIT - they couldn't do that could they, as it would still have given the Aussies a chance. Doh!)

As you know, I'm not one for conspiracy theories. And I don't buy this one either. If Hampel was intent on finishing two places behind Rickardsson, why was he in front of him heading into the first bend in the initial running? Could it be that if Hampel had beaten Rickardsson the gap would've been 3 points (assuming Rickardsson finished immediately behind him) and TG could still have taken it to a race-off in Ht 25?
