iris123
They'll try anything to put our lads off.Probably hold them up at customs until after the final is finished.
SNoB147
I beleive that if team GB were racing tonight they would have qualified for Saturday
iris123
I wouldn't be surprised to see Tony Steele taking the final. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tommy Steele could do a better job than these Poles
Shortcrust
I know none of the desicions were really biased, but why on earth was there a Polish ref? Why? We had to make do with some foreigner on Sunday so why do the Poles get special treatment(hope I'm not offending anyone )? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If I remember rightly, a few years back a Polish ref in the final excluded a Polish rider (Jacek someone) in the very last heat to give the Cup to the Aussie's . Not sure if it was tonight's ref or the other one they mentioned earlier tonight. Oh, almost forgot, terrible decision by ref tonight regarding Mr Rickardsson, he should have been 'thrown out of the race' as Nigel Pearson so eloquently put it Sunday night. rabbit
Almost perfect tactics from Poland and Boycey/Australia have messed up, who woudl you prefer in the race off in Poland? Sweden or Poland? I'd prefer Sweden so Adams should have let Gollob have the win in heat 25. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Have to agree with you SCB. As soon as Adams crossed the line first I wondered if the Aussies haven't just shot themselves in the foot by having to go against the Poles on their home turf. Cracking meeting though. Bring on Thursday..and how nice not to have the pressure on the British team to perform!

Guest KFC Baby
Started off a bit slow and the racing was really spread out...but it got alot better towards the end...as heat 25 showed us!! Couldn't help but laugh when Antonio Lindback was pushed off the podium by his team manager (!) Nice one mate I'm off to Poland in the morning, so I'm pleased to see that the race-off will hopefully provide some great racing (can't wait to see Gollob round Wroclaw!) Well done Smoli and the Germans...the commentators forgot to praise their efforts at times...I mean cmon, they're only young and need support! I think Poland and Denmark will get through on Thursday...but who ever it is...the final on Saturday will be very tight!
SCB
Well done Smoli and the Germans...the commentators forgot to praise their efforts at times...I mean cmon, they're only young and need support! What is it about society these days? Why do we always have to "big up" the lossers?! No the Germans did not make idiots of themselves and my dad commented on how well they rode and I agree they did do well but lets be honest, they were not exactly in the meeting and had not effect on the meeting really. Why do we have to praise everyone? It's a British thing, love a losser (the team/person who does not win if you prefer) but why? Subedei
Why do we have to praise everyone? It's a British thing, love a losser (the team/person who does not win if you prefer) but why? Maybe it's because you Britons (remember, I'm a Mongol) are so often the losers, or, if you prefer, the lossers.
Addy
Heat 24 shockingly dreadful decision, Rickardson deffinatly should have been excluded <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed! Inconsistent Ref!

It was a learning curve for them....but "good ride from the German" wouldn't go a miss. A new-comer to the sport would be like..."hang on, the guy in the blue helmet has just come into third place but no-ones said anything!" Oh well....the German's did well and I'm very proud of Smoli! Subedei
The Germans were just dreadfully unlucky to get drawn in the 2nd Event. They'd probably have been close to double figures if they'd been at Swindon. But the Eskilstuna meeting was very tough. gazzathegooner
Heat 24 shockingly dreadful decision, Rickardson deffinatly should have been excluded <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agreed any other rider would have been excluded. Heat 25 brilliant I was hoping that Gollob took the win as I think Gollob would have beaten Trick but that all ifs and buts and history

Mateusz
Bet there is a Polish ref at the next 2 meetings as well God save..... Next idiot...
Subedei
They were in Sweden. That's a jolly valid point. I meant to type Swindon, I thought I'd typed Swindon, but all the available evidence shows I typed Sweden instead. And, you know what, if you look in a couple of minutes, it'll show that I did type Swindon. But, by that time, it'll be too late.
Midnight_Lady
Heat 24 shockingly dreadful decision, Rickardson deffinatly should have been excluded <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The ref bottled it. Rickardsson was dirty and should have walked. Dreadful decision I wouldn't be surprised to see Tony Steele taking the final. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't care who the ref is as long as he knows the rules and applies them consistently! stevebrum
exciting meeting - think that the racing in poland will be cracking!
youngy105
The next 2 meetings have to have neutral referees. Tony Steele could do the race-off and A.N.Other not from any of the 4 countries in the Final could ref that one. Heat 25....A rider can win his country the World Cup by gaining a solitary point. From the start he goes down on his own at the first bend.....the referee is from his country..........do you honestly think he would exclude him?..........I think not. And please can we have a consistent referee....Holta's exclusion was harsh and Rickardsson's Spanish Archer (El Bow) escape were just unbelievable.
