Refs appear to make a habit of giving certain riders the benefit of the doubt in GPs, don't they? Pressure from BSI? :unsure::mad:

Was it Great Britain he rode for? I think Briggs and Mauger rode for Great Britain for a long time, but I could be wrong.

Yes, they all rode for Great Britain in the old World Team Cup when Great Britain itself was too weak to compete at that level, so they lumped British Commonwealth riders in as Great Britain.

Ok then. GB! Or did he? maybe it was just Mauger and Briggs! Just found it, Moore did indeed ride for GB. In the 1961 test matches against Sweden he scored a total of 62 points in the five matches, second only to Peter Craven on 71!

 

GB won the series 5-0!
