Subedei
Was it Great Britain he rode for? I think Briggs and Mauger rode for Great Britain for a long time, but I could be wrong.
Midnight_Lady
Heat 24: Rickardsson gives Hampel a right nudge and Hampel takes out the German rider. All4back. Absolutely ridiculous decision. The ref bottled excluding Rickardsson
AndyM
Refs appear to make a habit of giving certain riders the benefit of the doubt in GPs, don't they? Pressure from BSI?
norbold
Was it Great Britain he rode for? I think Briggs and Mauger rode for Great Britain for a long time, but I could be wrong. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, they all rode for Great Britain in the old World Team Cup when Great Britain itself was too weak to compete at that level, so they lumped British Commonwealth riders in as Great Britain. bmth11
Heat 25 was a little better <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And wasn't it nice to see Adams giving everything in his battle with Gollob, even though he didn't actually have anything to race for. Contrast that to Hans Andersens' 'efforts' in last years final.
BritPete
When did Ronnie Moore ride for England? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ok then. GB! Or did he? maybe it was just Mauger and Briggs! Just found it, Moore did indeed ride for GB. In the 1961 test matches against Sweden he scored a total of 62 points in the five matches, second only to Peter Craven on 71! GB won the series 5-0!
