Subedei
Think Crump was born in the U.K........ since 0.1 second. And he qualifies to ride for Britain, but chooses not to.
BritPete
Well, here are the teams according to speedwayworldtv! Sweden: 1. Antonio Lindback 2. Andreas Jonsson 3. Tony Rickardsson (Capt) 4. Peter Karlsson 5. Fredrik Lindgren Poland 1. Krzysztof Kasprzak 2. Piotr Protasiewicz 3. Rune Holta 4. Jaroslaw Hampel 5. Tomasz Gollob (Capt) Grzegorz Walasek (Reserve rider) Australia: 1. Leigh Adams 2. Ryan Sullivan 3. Jason Crump (Capt) 4. Adam Shields. 5. Davey Watt Germany: 1. Christian Hefenbrock 2. Rene Schafer 3. Martin Smolinski (Capt) 4. Thomas Stange 5. Mathias Schultz Gemany look very unlikely to make the top two, but, it seems mighty close for the rest! Australia possibly have the strongest spearhead, with Sweden very close behind them. How much will they miss Max? that will depend upon what Lindgren can produce on the night. Lindback has been a little disappointing in the league, yet his GP form may suggest that he will score useful points here. Very hard to call this one, and Poland cannot be ruled out, it should make for great TV though! and if pushed I would go for a narrow win for Sweden, with Australia edging out Poland. This is definitely a no bet though! And, I do not believe for a second that any team will be taking it easy, the stakes are far too high! Subedei
Will Germany even register a point? That Polish line-up looks strong 1-5. I think they'll win on the night.
a61
3.austrlai <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Where's that? Looking at the line ups, the Polish team looks pretty solid. I think Lindgren could be weak for Sweden and Shields/Watt could also be problematic for Oz. As for Germany... well, we know they wont win. But I hope Martin can score some points. AndyM
On the contrary, I think Watt will be very dogged and determined. Pepe's recent form has been lousy and Gollob's been none too impressive in recent GPs. Still convinced that The Aussies will beat the Poles, but on their own soil it will be difficult to top the Swedes.
KevH
Sky were indicating on Sunday that Steve Johnston was riding for Australia - does this mean Davey Watt's not fit or what?
AndyM
Johnno in for Sully so the Aussies can be rid of their weak link?!
Rob B
Sweden will win tomorrow but Poland will then win the race off and win the final on Saturday too.
Mateusz
Sweden will win tomorrow but Poland will then win the race off and win the final on Saturday too. I think exactly the same.
tarabanko
On the paper the Polish team looks really good. But has seen PePe at Eskilstuna before and he has been lousy can he be the weak link for poland? I think so. Hampel loves the Eskilstuna circuit, he hasnt lost many points in 3 meetings there. I predict Sweden will win but just narrow before Poland who will be racing in the race off with Australia on thursday with the Danes and Chezchs. If Poland wins tommorow there will be less people on thursdays race off. Up the Swedes! ---=Iam the official timekeeper tommorow in Eskilstuna=---
Champion
Am I missing something here? I know Holta races under a Polish licence, but since when has he taken Polish nationality? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Since 2002 as I remember.
seanisnumber1
Result tonight will see Sweden just edge out the Poles with Australia in 3rd!! 1. Sweden 2. Poland 3. Australia 4. Germany Result of the Race off on thursday!! 1. Poland 2. Denmark 3. Australia 4. Czech Republic Result of the Final!! In my opinion I think the Brits are going to have a really tough task to beat the Poles or the Swedes due to their all round strength but we could pip the Danes to 3rd!! I hope we can do better!! BritPete
Quite a few different opinions here, that shows just how tight this group is, thank goodness team GB are already through to the final!
frigbo
I've got the Aussies to dip out in Thursday's race off too. I've had a wee tickle on the Poles for the final and a saver on the Danes at a massive 13/2 with Skybet.
sjw ministerofport
The Aussies look a little weak to me but i would love to see GB beat them in the final and also at the second cricket test.
