tony159
Once again Middlo proved that he is the best team manager for the job . He has the knack of getting the best out of the riders at his disposal. Sure if he is left in charge of the new breed of British youngsters the future is bright for team G.B. Well done Middlo . baz brush
totally agree that middlo's man management is fantastic (still say that the night we were at poole and the pedersen/ferjan incident occured (which never proved to be as bad as it first looked when viewed again on the video) he actually pushed sullivan out onto the track, and this i know because i saw it with my own eyes and sullys reaction stirred up the riders and fans alike, and this in my opinion was what kept pooles home record intact that night) as until then they looked like a beaten team well done tonight neil you have done yourself proud good luck for saturday
BertHoven
I have a George Cross flag hanging from my window for the TEAM GB in the WTC and it wont come down now til next Sunday morning Middlo -------- SIMPLY THE BEST <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Shazzy, me dear, that's a wee bit politically incorrect and naughty. The cross of St George is the English flag. As has been stated elsewhere the team is Great Britain [which, incidentally, is also incorrect as Great Britain does not exist]. However the flag you should fly from you window is the Union Flag [sometimes this, also incorrectly, is referred to as the Union Jack. The Union Jack is the Royal Navy flag]. Isn't life confusing? I think I'll go and lie down in me darkened padded cell. Regards to the former Mr U&C! Joy to you, Bert.
frigbo
Anyone want to point out how daft Middlo looked leaping around after Rico passed Nicki P with his throttle off and thereby allowed the Danes to play their joker? Keep up Middlo, it could cost ue one day!
stressed
Well done Middlo and the lads, good show tonight, Saturday will be much tougher for you all, keep at it and all we can ask is for you all to give it your best shot. Grachan
Anyone want to point out how daft Middlo looked leaping around after Rico passed Nicki P with his throttle off and thereby allowed the Danes to play their joker? Keep up Middlo, it could cost ue one day! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The way England were going it was pretty certain that they would be six ahead at some point, so it would not have been in Denmarks interest to throw a race and use it at a relatively early stage - and with Hans Andersen as the rider. If that was a Danish tactic - and I must admit Pedersen's riding was a bit strange, but I put it down to going too wide and geting into deep dirt - then it was a damn bad one. It may be worth doing that in the closing stages of a meeting, but at that point it would have been a stupid thing to do.

The Royal Navy Flag is the White Ensign which is basically a Cross of St George with a Union Flag in the upper quarter nearest the mast. Pedant Off ;-)
