Brightonbob
Despite being a huge Floppy fan I think Bomber & Steady earned the right to go and thats that. What better opportunity will be ever get to break the mold and start bringing some new guys through. I'm going to Poland and I'll be 100% behind those boys who have given British speedway such a big boost. If they get on the podium Team GB will have absolutely exceeded realistic expectations and bloodied a new era. Job done.
Bee 26
Bomber will go well in poland as he relishes big tracks, hopefully there will be some dirt on so we can see some decent racing.
Grachan
I think people will be looking at the GB team with a lot more trepidation than they were before. The original side held no real fears for the other sides, but suddenly I think they will be looking at us and seeing us as the team with the dynamic young guns to kep an eye on. In the past we've had to enviously watch, say, Kolodjiez or Lindback bursting onto the scene. Well now, maybe, it's our turn to scare the hell out of everyone with our exciting young riders, and about time too! Then again, maybe we'll get stuffed. But right decision anyway. shazzybird
Middlo also says that with the new rulings, if he were to put Mark in and he took a knock, had to retire from the meeting leaves TEAM GB one man down as no reserve. Great shame for Mark but have every faith in TEAM GB Winning the World Team Cup with the team from Sunday It's going to be a lot tougher on Saturday than it was last Sunday, we are all under no illusions about that still..... no need to be negative all gotta have something in life to hope for. COME ON TEAM GB BRING THAT CUP HOME
frigbo
to the clown not fancying the bomber and steady in poland, go and take a break from yourself. these two kids will excell on the big fast polish circuits. if steady and bomber dont already ride in poland there will be a few promoters out there to sign them up wouldnt it be if all the brits had 100% support going into saturdays big meeting without being sniped at <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No not sniping, just an opinion. The fact it differs from yours isn't a basis for calling me a clown. Maybe they'll teach you that in 'big school' next term?
21st century heathen
If Mark's not fit then this is the correct decision. I'm glad Joe is prepared to be prepared, and is getting a bike with some umph. As I said yesterday I'll be very happy with a top three finish on Saturday, but if not then so be it. I think we have a team that need some dirt on the track to show what they're capable of. Only Lee is a gater, and he was struggling on Sunday. The others are racers, and a pleasure to watch. Lets hope the track is prepared well, and our boys can mix it.
