Gb Team In The Final

Recommended Posts

Surely Middlo has got to go with the 5 riders tonight who have done us proud!!

Bomber and Steady showed they are up to the task and Screen, Scotty and Rico pick themselves in the team!!

Nigel Pearson was on about bringing Loram back into the team but in my opinion the team should be kept the same for morale, team bonding and spirit!!!

Come on the Brits!!

As much as I love Mark, I too think Middlo should take the team he has to the final. Had this conversation with someone tonight.

David Norris really should be in the commentary how funny was he? "Don't forget you heard it here first David Norris announces his International Retirement" Norris replied with "Easy Tiger" Classic

Screenie going on about little balls, Floppy saying at least they've got growing room, Joe don't put on any more weight as you haven't.

xx WELL DONE TEAM GB - WELL DONE MIDDLO - GOOD LUCK IN THE FINAL - BRING THE TROPHY BACK HOME xx

Yep what a great performance by all the lads out on the track tonight. They all rode their socks off out there. TBH I thought that we wouldn't do it tonight. How glad I was for the lads to prove me wrong. If they can all ride like that on saturday i see no reason why we can't win the final. :)

Sorry but  if Loram is fit he must replace Screen

If you feel that a fit Mark Loram must replace Joe Screen, why do apologise?

Could it be that you are not entirely convinced yourself? I wonder!

Yes, Forrest, all the English lads pulled out all the stops but I feel that particular mention should be made of Simon Stead and Chris Harris. They are two young men in their infancy in top flight speedway. Tonight was their first full internationl contest. They each scored twelve points - that's as many as team captain and GP star Scott Nicholls. They beat some seasoned international and world class riders. Simon, incredibly, beat Nikki Pedsersen. That was in his final race when he was surely feeling the strain.

Well done Simon and Chris. You are a credit to England!

If they are going to put loram in they must make sure that he is 100% fit beacues what is the point in taking out 100 %rider and puting in 50% rider

to be fair a 75% fit Loram would outscore a 100% Joe Screen! Just MHO, Mark however was not fully race fit prior to his injury!

Big call for Middlo!

i agree that loram should replace screen IF FIT.about time they went with the british youth if you dont ride then against the best they lose the drive to improve also they dont feel the nerves cos nobody expects to much.the danes took a gamble like this a few years back and its paying off BUT NOT TONIGHT HA,HA

The selection should be riders in form. Joe's not been riding badly, but you'd expect a fit Loram to ride better in most circumstances.
