home straight
Looking forward to reading all you singing his praises later on !!!!! Even though the cheating ruskies are making him race this heat again !!!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Singing his praises my eye, he's done nothing of any merit in his first two races except pick up a couple of gift wins. home straight
Should I be churlish and point to the good fortune that Lee had in his early rides? No, absolutely not. Well done Lee proved me completely wrong.

.*EMMA*.
I think an unfit Rico would do better than an unfit Floppy round Swindon wouldn't he..? Surely if Floppy was fit enough to ride though he would take over from Screen, Bomber or even Steady.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A nearly 100% Floppy versus Lee Richardson throwing his ring up in the pits between races? Sorry, Floppy wins anytime on any track for me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm glad Floppy agreed with me on this one.. I don't think a nearly 100% fit Floppy would of got a 15 max tonight.. Eastie
I just hope we dont get Sophie Blake interviewing Sicknote after every one of his races and him replying ," I dont feel 100%" " I've been sick all night" " I've got no strength , cant hold onto the bike" " I keep feeling dizzy" "I'll give it a go " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not bad , he said 3 out of the 5 PS. That must be one of the jammiest maximums ever . every time he made a pants gate someone fell off Edited August 1, 2005 by Eastie
Grachan
Not bad , he said 3 out of the 5 PS. That must be one of the jammiest maximums ever . every time he made a pants gate someone fell off <{POST_SNAPBACK}> At least he had the bravery and the courage to ride despite being seriously - possibly even gravely - ill. The man is a hero to rise from his sickbed to produce a marvellous display of true British grit and courage. Let us not forget, the poor boy couldn't even finish the meeting at Eastbourne the night before due to his abject suffering yet still rode. Mr Floppy, however, was fit on Saturday but still couldn't muster the strength and courage to represent his country. Thank the Lord above there are some true patriots among our speedway riders that will put their country before their own health and come up with such a briliant display. And at least a rider is a true patriot unlike many so called Team GB fans on here who can't even stick behind the riders whether they are ill or not! Fat Tractor Man
You so called fans want your,e collective heads knocked together and a very large kick up the arse Floppy versus Lee was never an issue with the team selection, cos if it was, steady and chris would already have been selected 2 1/2 pages of some very uncomplimentary postings concerning lee and not one of you has the balls to come on and personally apologise to a rider who obviously wasn,t fit but rode his heart out so FANS ???like you have a chance of seing us in the final. No disrespect to B/V fans ,who I notice have,nt stuck the knife in ,I think if Floppy is fit he should replace Joe. Also would you bring Mark into the equasion and if so who would you drop. Congrats to all the Brits last night inc Middlo hope we can go on to win good luck . I will look forward to some serious grovelling now if you all got the bottle. Wackie
Unbelievable, quite unbelievable. The amount of rubbish Lee has taken on this and other threads from so called TeamGB fans is bang out of order. At the end of the day, Floppy has just come back from a long layoff and isn't race fit for the SGP and Loram also isn't fit. Like it or not Loram isn't the world beater he once was - I think he's had his day at international level and it's time to let the young guns (yes that includes Richardson) show their worth. As for Richardson complaining about feeling ill when interviewed - Loram is one of the biggest culprits for this - always something wrong. Nicholls is similar always got something to moan about. I guess as these are the golden boys for some of the blinkered so called Team GB fans (saddos) on here it doesn't get picked up or is put down to part of their character. Lee rode his nuts off for his Country last night and what thanks does he get? None - just constant slating & bitching. Like him or not, he's young and he's going to be around for a few years to come - probably long after Loram & Floppy have retired, so get over it and SUPPORT ALL OF OUR BOYS or p!ss off and support the Aussies instead! BROCK
What are you talking about so far Lee has been lucky - lets hope for the sake of team GB that luck holds but how can you say he has been riding well <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I would have thought overtaking the World Champ on the last bend could be called riding well? Marco
Unbelievable, quite unbelievable. The amount of rubbish Lee has taken on this and other threads from so called TeamGB fans is bang out of order. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well said Wackie - not sure what Lee has done to deserve this reputation, but the attitute towards him by some on here is shocking, particularly where it concerns GB. Even after his maximum people are calling him lucky. What on earth more do you expect from him??? He can't win with some of you.... Can't we all just get behind GB and leave him be to try his best for us all???
