drakey
This match is the reason I took the decision a month ago (after losing yet again) that I no longer bet on speedway. Looking at this match before the meeting, there was no way Denmark could lose it. It did look like easy money. But I stayed strong and decided that as I had given up betting I wouldn't start again, no matter how odds on it looked. So pleased with myself ! I would have lost a fortune yet again ! It used to be so easy making money on speedway. I knew so much more than the bookies a couple of years ago. Now they take me to the cleaners ! baz brush
most events are covered on betfair (including last night) and if you play the system you can usually get it right, after the first heat team gb were available at 7 (which is 6-1) that was massive in anyones book, i backed them then and layed off at 2.5(which is 6-4) so ended up with a market where i won a little on all teams and a few quid more on team gb only play for small stakes but if you know speedway and how certain riders perform the odds can change dramatically from heat to heat
BritPete
And...that Is why I hardly ever bet on these sort of matches, they are too unpredictable, I make my money on league handicap betting---you know it makes sense!

raymondbudd
I lost a fair wedge, on at 4/6. Still think is was a good bet, and I would go for it again given the same circumstances. Still, it hurts to lose though!
