Taken from GP Site ..........

Jonas Davidsson has been called up to replace the injured Mikael Max as the wild-card at the FIM Scandinavian Grand Prix at Malilla on August 13.

Max is out for the rest of the season after breaking his left thigh and left wrist in a crash in Sweden last week.

Davidsson, recently crowned as Swedish Under-21 champion when he defeated both Antonio Lindback and Fredrik Lindgren, will make his Grand Prix debut at Malilla.

Im somewhat surprised at this... i would of thought Peter Karlsson would of been Mikael's replacement

A bit of a surprising choice, but I guess he got the nod because of his Under-21 success. That makes 3 GP Stars in the Swindon team then!

Is Davidsson scoring better in the Swedish league than he is here in Britain?? Perhaps he has an 8pt average, so his selection would be no surprise in Sweden.
