lupus
Text message from the track says it looks like a rain off is a distinct possibility. cometsfan2k4
Says on the wolfcry that they have had a text message from the track and it looks very wet and the meeting could even be put back until tomorrrow. That would be a little didgy on Wrighty as he has PLRC. Wonder what he would do? I would stay in the under 21's if it was me but whatever he does, good luck. frigbo
Sounds like another classic Speedway farce is unfolding in Austria.
Subedei
Tony Steele making Marek Wojaczek look competent. And Poole reject Suchanek apparently wins via a ballot. Very democratic.
BLIXT
http://wolfcry.proboards14.com/index.cgi?b...26899956&page=3, Someone has posted that there has been a ballot to decide the out come, and also that Krysztof Kasprzak is champion. Â What a joke! How can you do a ballot at a meeting like this?
847084
Kasprzak is champion on the toss of a coin. Â You couldn't make it up........
Steve Shovlar
Well done KK!!!!!! Â suchanek refused the runoff. His decision. Â 1-2 for Poole !! Â Something for us Poole fans to cheer about after a sorry few weeks!
BLIXT
Well done KK!!!!!! suchanek refused the runoff. His decision.  1-2 for Poole !!  Something for us Poole fans to cheer about after a sorry few weeks! <{POST_SNAPBACK}>  How can you say well done KK? He hasnt really won the u21 final, it was by luck and a stupid decision which got him the "victory".  If this was an FIM event (which i think it was) then technically the meeting should be re-run because they cant award an event. Subedei
How could a run-off be safe if the track was unfit to complete the meeting. Sensible decision from Suchanek to refuse a run-off. A stupid decision from Tony Steele to start the meeting in the first place.
BLIXT
Who said anything about a run-off that day. There was a possibility that it could have been re-run the next day. (weather permitting)
AndyM
Sounds like the sort of outcome that brings the sport into disrepute. Didn't they have a reserve day to account for rain-offs?
Subedei
Apparently, they could've raced the whole meeting at 7:00pm CET today, or held the meeting over until tomorrow.
Steve Shovlar
How about some congratulations to the winner, you know, the guy that was leading? Or are you all choking on those sour grapes?
rabbit
With all the controversy, I feel very sorry for Kasper. I can see him getting no credit at all for this over something which he has had no say over at all. It's happened, he was top of the pile at the end with Suchanek after 3 rides each and is now the U21 Champion. It's not his fault it was decided this way - Suchanek didn't want to ride in the run-off so what's KK to do? Â Anyway well done to the guy - we're proud of him down here and it's his name that will appear in the record books this year.
pug/206
well done to KK has had a really good year for the Poole. yes it was a lottery who won but thats life. it will be in the record book as Kaspazak 2005 u21 champion not how he went about winning it. just hope all the riders have escaped injury.
