KevH
Does anyone know directions to this track - I quite fancy the idea of this meeting!
Steve Turner
For now Kevin, I can tell you from memory it's about 35 miles the other side of Brussels. So it's not a very long drive. I think it's the A2 out of Brussels but any decent Euro map will show you. Heusden-Zolder, as you might expect, is right between Heusden and errr...Zolder 8) The track's a decent size, about 370m. Usually slick but that's no problem and it's a good atmosphere. It's the only speedway track in Belgium by the way.

We arrived at the track late and then missed the ferry home! The track was probably one of the worst I've seen. The holes in it were incredible! I also remember a really hard concrete "safety" fence! Travel de Courcey (Nookie Bear travel) - we'll get you there ! Poor old PB, all that planning and they couldn't read a map or take advice ! Best bit was Maurice and the driver having a lets call it 'discussion' on arrival at the track - its a long way to walk Maurice, had to buy him a false beard and funny specs to get him back on board 8) As for that safety fence, concrete uprights and criss cross members with solid wooden facias, hmmm. Guest wes lake
Change of riders Deano has pulled out Simon Stead will replace him Because he was injured prior to Elgane and the jury knew that it was genuine so have allowed him to have another crack at it. Steve Turner
Cheers for that Wes ! My verdict on the fence at Heusden.....it's the same, impact-wise as at Kings Lynn. So it's not great but it's better than some. Let us know if you're going Kevin H....you can send updates
