Col
Richardson & Chrzanowski need something special to retain their GP spots next year IMO. Sullivan is also on dodgy ground also IMO. Think all the others will retain their spots if they want them but will a few of the older riders (Gollob, Hancock) step down? Who should/would get nominate into these positions? Guest Shale Eater
I think Tony Rickardsson might retain his place for next year
Guest Shale Eater
Well after tonights performance, Bjarne has done himself a big favour
Subedei
BP will be okay. He's made 3 finals this season. And Nicholls should do enough, although losing out after hitting 14 in the qualifiers will be hard to take. I think Richardson, Chrzanowski and possibly Sullivan are skating on thin ice. flyin'ryan
Have to agree there. Although Sully did at least show some signs tonight of what he can do, he's just so up and down and has been all season in the elite and gp's...needs to be a lot more consistent to retain his place i feel... Mr. Clemens
I think we are at a point where there will be a 'changing of the guard' in the GP's. It's time for new blood in there as the riders currently competing seem totally jaded.
Cornishman
Who should/would get nominate into these positions? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> be a crime if matej zagar misses out again. we should have 2 from GB imo. Scotty and someone else. (BOMBER! ). Bjerre should be in too imo
Guest Shale Eater
The GP line up for next year will be The top 8 (in no order) Tony Rickardsson, Jason Crump, Nicki Pedersen, Bjarne Pedersen, Leigh Adams, Jarek Hampel, Antonio Lindback, Hans Andersen Of the 2005 crew, the riders that will be back will be Greg Hancock, Tomasz Gollob, Andreas Jonsson, Scott Nicholls Ryan Sullivan, Tomasz Chrzanowski & Lee Richardson won't be back. They will be replaced by Krzysztof Kasprzak, Matej Zagar & Kenneth Bjerre The 16th and final rider will obviously be the wildcard for each round. Subedei
Don't bet against Gollob getting into the top 8. He looked bang on the pace in Prague and his usual performance at Bydgoszcz will shoot him up the standings. Hans Andersen would look to be the most vulnerable of your picks. He was dreadful in Prague.

iris123
As i said before, the UEM want the European Champ to have a place in next years GP.Will BSI agree?Maybe the U21 champ will get a place as well. That could well be Kasprzak or Bjerre, but if the Euro Champ turns out to be Drabik or Dryml,etc....... Just a question, how are they deciding who they invite back? What are they basing it on?
JT
Kenneth Bjerre? Far too bland in my opinion, seems to be a gate or nothing type of rider on the international stage at the moment, Zagar has had god knows how many chances at cracking his home GP and his Swedish scores suggest he wouldn't be the best choice for a full season of GP racing. Richardson certainly has to go as he seems to have completely lost the plot, I wouldn't bother sticking another Brit in the line up as quite frankly none of them are good enough at the moment. Crappy Chrzonowski in every GP bar Britain has been embarassing frequently going from first to last, while Sullivan seems to have lost the desire to be world champion and should not be invited back. robpeasley
IMO Niels-Kristian Iversen would be a better pick than Bjerre at the moment. Iversen would help provide shake up the GP, as he's spectacular to watch with his dives around the outside. Isn't fazed facing the big boys either, he often saves his best for Heat 15! Not only that, but so I've been told by girls, that Iversen is a bit good looking as well!! Give Bjerre one more year. All the best Rob P.S. Down to one permanent Brit next year? Oh dear. Dekker
Cannot see riders dropping out if they get offered a place unless they are retiring from the sport. They would stand a large risk of their major sponsor dropping them!Apart from the top 3 or 4 and maybe one of the Poles its clear that most of the riders dont have that many major sponsors to be dropped by. Unless something changes the GPs are becoming too expensive to compete in.
